Eaton C25BNB230T Compact Definite Purpose Contactor, 30A Inductive Current Rating, 2 Max HP Rating at 115V, 5 Max HP Rating at 230V, 24VAC Coil Voltage

I originally posted a three star review for this contactor because I thought one of the three I purchased was humming very loudly. It turns out that the obnoxious hum was coming from a White Rodgers relay I mounted in the same electrical enclosure. So all three of these are performing very well.Considering they are so inexpensive I have to say they appear to be a great deal. They do seem a little lightweight for a 40 amp contactor, so I am not sure how well they will hold up. If they are still going strong after a year, I will try to remember to up my rating to five stars.**Update** It has been a year since I installed two of these to control two separate well pumps. One of the pumps is used constantly, and the other is a back-up that ended up being used about 50% of the time. Both are still functioning fine. I am going to install a third one on yet another well pump, which will see a lot of use. I am upgrading my rating to five stars so long as these little guys keep working.

Good quality contactor at a reasonable price.

I generally like Eaton’s products, and I was able to get a few of these on sale. The only thing that I don’t really care for are all the male prongs for "Sta-Kon” crimp connectors sticking out all over the place. Fortunately they are easy enough to remove.I use these a lot with 24V control circuits.

Great product. Wrong part for me

Direct replacement. Took 10 minutes to install and works perfectly. My old one had gotten a spider in between the contacts and they never work the same after.

Appears better than the original in that the relay contacts are now enclosed. Before the contacts where not enclosed and were subject getting loaded up with Dirt and other debris. Price was very good and item shipped in a time fashion. I would buy from this supplier again.

I have multi rental properties with this type of contactor in the A/Cs . I always keep one on hand for them Sunday breakdowns. Being pretty much universal, it fit many different brands of AC units.

I had specifically ordered C25BNB230T with double pole as pictured. Amazon sent me a C25CNB130T with a sticker stating: EATON C25BNB230T on top of the original part number. Yes, this replacement would work. However, its a single pole with a shunt that will supply 120v to one leg at all times! For safety reasons, I like both my line voltage to be without power when my contactor disengages. Therefore, I'm returning this one and buying the actual one that I had ordered in the first place. DOUBLE POLE!
