I bought these for Colonial Day for the Fourth Grade at my son's school.I bought these, I bought white, and I also bought white with a black tip. I had all colors of ink for the kids to choose from. I decided at the last minute not to use the black ones only because then the kids might mix up the ink colors from quill to quill.However, if I had only 1 color of ink (say, black or blue), then I would have definitely used these. And I know we would have loved them. The kids really thoroughly enjoyed using the quill feather pens for writing. They really loved them and did a great job. Didn't want to leave the station!

I actually got these to make writing quills from. Unfortunately they were too dry and brittle so they were impossible to cut. In fact they just cracked, so I don't recommend them for making quills.

Perfect for my project. Used every one of them. Misread the B712 thinking there were 12 in the pkg. Only six but it said that in the description.

I purchased these quills as props for a dramatic presentation. They fit the need very well. They are as advertised and for the price are very good quills. I did not actually use them with ink. If someone intends to ink paper or write with them they will need to be sharpened and trimmed as they have not been trimmed at all. But for the purpose for which I bought them, they worked excellently. They came when promised and are the size and condition advertised. I was very happy with this purchase and would recommend them as props for any dramatic presentation that needs old, rough looking "quill pens".

Very pleased w/quality & just as pictured!I purchased 3 different colors in hopes they were exact to what was pictured. They are! Finally found my "Go to" feather supplier 🤘

Received 27 feathers. Should have been 28.Of the 27 , eight clearly showed section that had been cut out to make flies.Of the remaining 19, ten were so scraggly that less than half the feather is usable.Of the now remaining 9 feathers, they are usable for fly tying, but barely.
