I was against buying this product for obvious reasons, but had to give in when the number of mice started getting out of control.It's strong, but small enough not to be obtrusive and easy to assemble.I expected it to take longer to work, but after 3 days of use I have not seen any mice.I'm going to stop using it in a couple of days and only get it out again if I need it.

Used various forms of traps but they get wise to them. This has been a fire and forget solution. Installed them in various crawl spaces and behind the baseboards of our kitchen to keep them out of the reach of children and pets. Haven't heard a Scrabble in the walls since.I would however recommend you do this at the start of winter. That way the corpses have plenty of time to dry out instead of becoming a breeding ground for flies. No noticeable smell of death other than at the start, but you had to stick your head into a crawl space to notice it. And best of all - no flies.Would strongly recommend against using these in the spring or warmer months if it can be avoided.

Set this up and left it for two weeks, checked the blocks inside and they had all been nibbled hence the reduction in the rat population I had noted.The box feels light and flimsy to the touch but is actually quite strong enough for the job and easy to put in the bait blocks (wearing disposable gloves of course)I hid the box in the rat run along the back fence where a shrub masks the box so any rat isn't disturbed while investigating.I know I will never get rid of the rats solely with a bait box but it is a great addition to my other method of control.

Great to have a box to keep the poison secure from any wildlife getting at it accidentally. It's slow to work but effective. Be patient and wait until this does it's Job. Good waterproof / weather proof box that's easy to open for inspection and to close again.

Have a problem with rats in the garden. 1st used local authority pest control (Had to pay considerably more). Problem is I live on a former canal bank, Lots of rats. Advised simply that unless at least 25% of residents use pest control it will still continue. However was advised that these were lower cost than local authority charges and were reccomended. I will try to see if other residents will also buy. Worth contacting neighbours to see otherwise not too much luck in getting rid of unwanted vermine. Yes do kill but they can reproduce quicker than I as a sole poisoner can get rid of them. Overall good product. Need neighbours to also use. BTW Most important you must wear latex gloves (throw away) whilst handling. Also of important to mention is I have a pet dog that has free rome. These are perfectly safe for use if you have pets. i'e Dog or Cat. PET FRIENDLY!

I have been observing a rat on my camera going back and forwards in direction of bait box for about a month now...no signs of showing any effect

Rat traps tend to be a bit hit or miss. Initially the baby rats ate the blocks however the mother didn’t. It wasn’t til I put the trap over the hole that it worked. The rat pushed the box on its side. That resulted in some of the poison spilling into the entrance of the trap. Once that happened she was in there taking the blocks back to her nest. So far no more rats!
