Home Alone: The Classic Illustrated Storybook

I got this book as a gift for my sister's family for this upcoming Christmas season. The kids are all under 5, and still a little young for the movie (since Kevin doesn't have the best attitude/tone with his family), but this has always been one of my sister's favorite movies! It's a children's book, so it's obviously a shortened version of the movie (and therefore cant match the movie fully), but it's done very well! I love all the illustrations, overall it's very well done!

We read this every holiday season and my kids love it! It's a favorite in our house. The picture are great!

Perfect for adults who grew up with this movie and the newer generations that we can pass it on to. The artwork is great, the story line is great (no it doesn't cover every single scene in the movie. It's just not possible in a children's book to do that), it captures the pivotal scenes and flows nicely. Even the inside cover artwork plays into the story. A great read for any generation, and one that can be a great way to introduce children to Home Alone or get them into it by reading the book first. This would be a great book to start a new Christmas tradition with!

This book will not disappoint! The story is shortened but highlights the main points, which makes reading to children and their shortened attention spans palatable. The illustrations are nicely detailed and great. A very good purchase which will be a family holiday staple for years to come!

Great Christmas gift!

This is a really cute book to have out during the holidays. The movie is a staple in our house and the book is a fun reminder of the movie

I purchased this book as a Christmas gift for my husband from our daughters. Home Alone has always been his favorite movie and I just knew he would love this book. It is great! We are going to start a new family tradition of reading this book with our daughters every Christmas! The book itself is great! It is very good quality and we loved the illustrations. There are few little changes to the story, but that is to be expected. If you or someone you know loves the Home Alone movies, this is great addition to add to your book collection whether you have children or not!

My kids are obsessed with the home alone movies, so of course I had to get them the books! They have the cutest illustrations and follow the storyline of the movie! Very cute!

Great story

Se supone que es un libro de segunda mano, pero está intacto. Las tapas son duras y las hojas están perfectamente, muy cuidado. Además me llegó unos pocos días antes de la fecha prevista. Muy buen regalo de navidad por poco más de 8€. Compra muy recomendable.

I was surprised to discover that this book is actually a very good, simple and straightforward telling of the story from the movie. And it’s perfect for kids - just the action scenes, and none of the violence (eg fire or hand-scalding), and none of the boring mom scenes. Highly recommend for little kids. Also the illustrations are excellent (though a little disappointed that they didn’t recreate the house decor).
