Design Toscano Music from Heaven Angel Statue

I'm going to post this to pass what my mom and dad thought about this. I bought this as a gift, shipped direct to my mom and dad. However, they have provided feedback that they love it. The chimes were very specifically mentioned as sounding very nice and both love the statue. All I can really say is that both loved this which is all I could ask.

This is a magnificent garden statue! Perfect in size andvery unique! She sits in my garden among the other wind chimes and when thewind blows I’m treated to a lovely concert! If you purchase this you willnot be disappointed !!

I bought this as a gift for my mom for Mother’s Day. She absolutely loves it. One of the metal chimes little toe came undo in shipping, but it was really easy to fix. This statue is super light and easy to move around. My mom placed it right outside the kitchen window so she can look at it every day while she’s doing the dishes or whenever she’s in the kitchen.

The product is a nice addition to our new Angel garden. We don't hear the chimes often but that might be because of we have it in an area that isn't exposed to the wind easily. I do think it is over priced for being made out of resin.

I purchased this statue for my mother to place in her garden to act as a memorial to her brother who just passed away in a tragic accident. It arrived in a box that looked undamaged so my hopes were high, but as soon as I picked it up and felt the contents of the box shift inside, I knew... The box was "closed up" with only two pieces of packaging tape, which appeared as if they fell off and were reattached by a helpful delivery person several times. Upon opening, it was packaged so poorly in it's own box (not in an Amazon box, this box was from the company) that not even the styrofoam survived (see pictures). The styrofoam pieces weren't large enough (or the box wasn't small enough) to keep the contents snug and from being able to shift in the box. The statue and foam inserts were able to move in every direction of the box by several inches. The harp was broken in about 5 places with a chunk of it missing that couldn't even be found in the box, "It's okay" I thought, "It's on the back side of the harp at least". So I carefully remove the harp as to not damage it any further, still holding on to my deluded dream I'd be able to fix it. And then below the harp I remove the literal pieces of what use to be the styrofoam that was meant to protect it. And then to nobody's surprise, the angel's arm laying sad and severed from it's body, broken so badly I think some of the pieces got crushed and turned to actual dust because I still tried to see if there was a way to fix it and it's missing enough pieces that one arm would be an inch shorter than the other. There was no fixing this. So I have already initiated the return and replace process for this item, and will post an update to this review if and when the seller ever tries to contact me, and then another update once the second statue arrives...which I also intend to make an unboxing video for, so hopefully it's packaged better than this one was. Even though this disaster of a gift made my mom cry and added to her sadness, I'm being nice and leaving two stars. Despite it looking like someone dropped it off a building and then haphazardly threw the pieces in a box; if it were whole it would be very beautiful and be a pleasant decoration in any garden, or for us, an excellent memorial to my Uncle.UPDATE: 8/22So I had initiated the replacement of the statue, but it was taking several days for them to send the new statue. Three days later the price of the statue had changed and lowered quiet a bit, and seeing as how I still did not have a proper statue I tried to talk to Amazon about this issue. About twenty minutes later after a pretty upsetting and very unhelpful conversation with an Amazon representative, I cancelled the order completely to get my full payment back and ended up just reordering the statue for the newer and lower price (which got the statue to actually final get shipped.) After a couple more days it arrived and instantly I knew what had happened with the previous statue I had received. This new statue was shipped in a smaller, properly sized box with stickers and warnings all over it about it being fragile and requiring team lift etc. I believe the previous statue was probably a return and just wasn't properly processed and was shipped without inspection. The original 1st statue was missing every extra padding, plastic bag, and even pamphlet that the new statue came with. The new statue came packaged very well and completely undamaged.The statue itself is beautiful as for the chimes, they aren't "top of the line" chimes but they still sound pretty nice and add a nice sound to the breeze so no complaints there. Although the path to the finish was pretty rough, it ended up being worth it in the end because my Mom gets a smile every time the harp plays while she's gardening.

I owned one of these and our movers destroyed it so I ordered another to replace it without blinking! It leaves a pleasant sound in the breeze and it is a quality built. Being a harpist I adore it on my porch to greet my friends and family. It arrived on time and exactly what I needed to welcome me to my new home!

Ordered this angel for my mothers birthday-unfortunetly it was broken so I was unable to give it to her reading the past reviews I see it has happened to other customers should have taken the advice. Perhaps the company should reconsider the packaging since there has been complaints about it . Also very small for the price will be returning

Update: not holding up well. Already cracking. I put it away for the fall/winter, but I suspect it's going to keep cracking. Disappointment.The harp was damaged upon arrival. The hole that the chime goes into is too large for it to fit in. I contacted the seller and they requested I send the whole statue back, and they had no others in stock at the time, not to mention, I was afraid of getting it in worse shape if I sent it back. So I used some silicone and Gorilla Glue to put the chime in. Hopefully it holds. It is very pretty and sounds heavenly when the wind blows.
