When I was a kid (years ago … 😂) my mum and I used to go to a specialist shop where you could look at the scissors, feel them, try them. Now most of shopping is done online so it’s trial and error. I wanted thinning scissors to trim my Retrievers ‘ legs and tail coat because cutting with straight scissors doesn’t look good. I had to buy 3 different pairs but these ones are perfect. They hold well in hand, solid but not heavy and they cut beautifully 1st try. I haven’t found yet the perfect system to avoid my girls moving during grooming but as of scissors, job done and at roughly £10, they are excellent value for money. You won’t be disappointed!

Hair cutting scissors are a little sharper than kitchen scissors, they are lighter and easy to use, you don't have to hack away with them. 100% good bye.

These felt very promising at first, but after only a couple of uses, these were blunter than using a couple of rocks. The sharpness went almost immediately and were not fit for cutting hair.
