Men's Ironman Triathlon Classic 30 38mm Watch

I love this watch! The band is a little stiff, but I'm guessing it will loosen up over time. I bought the larger version (oversized) back in 2014 and wore it as my daily driver until the bezel finally wore off. I still works great, but looks like hell. When I first tried finding a replacement for my old Ironman I bought the T5E901 and returned it as soon as I opened the box because it looked comically small next to my old watch. Timex is really pushing that particular style right now, but I noticed this specific watch in a YouTube video that piqued my interest. This watch (T5K821) is actually sized in-between the "oversized" T5K412 and "full sized" T5E901 and unlike the T5E901 which has 16mm lugs, this watch has 18mm lugs and is 41mm wide between the buttons. I say all that to say this is a man's watch and the T5E901 is better suited for women and children in my opinion. Ironically all 3 sizes have the same module inside, same size display, etc. This watch also accepts standard 18mm bands. I've looked at every digital watch on Amazon, and there isn't a more user friendly watch than this one. The engineers hit it out of the park with the UI on the Ironman. If you want premium build get Casio, but if you want usability get the Ironman . . . I own both and it's not even close.

The Durability: I’ve been using this watch daily for over a year under pretty rough conditions, and it is the only one that has held up. While the body has some honest scuffs from use, the strap shows no signs of cracking or breaking, which is usually where these watches fail for me. It’s a beast for the price. ​Functionality: ​Tested Waterproofing: I’ve tested the water resistance several times now and haven't had a single issue with fogging or leaks. ​Essential Tools: The timer and stopwatch are incredibly useful for daily tasks, and the time itself has stayed 100% accurate without needing adjustments. ​The Backlight: The light is perfect—not too blinding, but bright enough to check the time in total darkness instantly. ​Design & Comfort: The sizing is spot on. It has a large, easy-to-read display, but it’s designed in a way that doesn't limit my range of motion. I never feel it digging into my wrist when I'm working with my hands. ​Final Verdict: 5 Stars. If you’re tired of "disposable" watches that break within six months, get this one. It’s durable, reliable, and comfortable enough to forget you’re wearing it until you need it.

Love these watches never take them off until the band dry rots 3 years later then throw out and get a new one. Have done everything in them that the military can throw at you and it’ll survive. Deep underwater and intense beatings with a battery life longer than the wrist band will survive so worth it. I keep mine on 24/7/365 and feel naked without it. This one is inverted, numbers blank background black. Hard to see in the sun at times

I have purchased Timex Iron Man series, and similar, watches for many years. They are an excellent value, with good functionality overall. However, there has been one overriding negative design feature that should have been dealt with a long time ago. That is the strap quality. The strap appears to be silicone, and over time removing the strap causes it to crack prematurely, and break. The watch still functions wonderfully, but the straps are NOT replaceable. Therefore, you either need to cut of most of the strap and use it as a pocket watch (which I will NOT do), or THROW THE WATCH AWAY. Secondly, the Indiglo light design has been changed from older iterations of the watch. Older Indiglo lighting was much brighter and easier to read than in this model. Also, the text font size is now smaller and harder to read. Lastly, the button to activate the Indiglo traditionally was on the lower right button. Now, it has been moved to the upper right button. After many years of knowing where it was, it has been irritating to now still push the wrong button initially.

This has taken a lickin and kept on tickin l. Have had mine slightly more than 2 years and haven’t had to changed the battery yet. Regularly have taken showers with it on. The indigo light is a bit on the faint side for me, alarm could be louder. Strictly as a waterproof watch, no complaints.

I had one just like this that is almost 20 years old. I never had to replace the battery and the time stayed consistent (didn't have to keep resetting the time). My old one's battery started to die, so I decided to buy a new watch instead of changing the battery (it's pretty heavily used, but still looks great). I'll probably change the battery and give it away.

I absolutely LOVE my Casio GBA800 that I have bully bars on, so she's quite huge. Analog with Bluetooth, pretty cool. If I ever remember to use such things. I have a phone and laptop on me usually, why do I need to play with my watch? I want to tell time, that's it. Comes along a good sale for an Ironman, and I used to be a complete fanatic for only Ironman for a real person's needs. Why not, I've been fighting the Casio all day with my coat cuff, let's get something a bit slimmer for when it's coat season. See if they're still great. Yup! Sure is. It's been probably 25 years ago last time I wore this style of Timex, and can you believe the button setup and beeps are all still the same as way back when! And somehow, my subconscious remembers the button presses. Wild. This thing is light as a feather, and I got the inverse LCD for fun, which is cool as all get out, but takes some getting used to. The Indiglo sure looks awesome, though, and she's like Knight Rider down there. Stealth. The display is big, and easy even for my old eyes, the band is supremely comfortable, and there's a strap catch that actually works correctly! With no Bluetooth, battery life should be outstanding - always used to be. Back when watch batteries were like $12 each. There goes my allowance! Lol. I'm very impressed by this timepiece. I really didn't mean to order order it, but, oh well. I love it as much as my Casio. Affordable tough watches rock!

Excelente reloj para hacer ejercicio o para el diario, no es tan resistente como un Casio G Shock, pero se queda muy cerca, es una cómodo en la muñeca, ligero, y si se mancha de sudor, lo puedes lavar con toda confianza.

The watch seems good so far but the packaging is hugely lacking. The flimsy box the watch came in was beat up and torn at a corner and worn on all corners. I've been wearing a Timex Ironman Triathlon watch for 42 years... ever since they were introduced at the Ironman Triathlon World Championship even Kona Hawaii 1984. I was in that event and there was a gift coupon to go towards the $35 purchase price of the watch in our Race Pak Oct 6th 1984. I'm thinking Timex should have more control over proper packaging of such an Iconic sport watch. I'm just hoping the watch holds up better thar the flimsy box it came in. The box was in the typical Amazon brown paper shipping bag. The courier was Dragonfly. The condition of the box I'm sure was NOT the fault of the courier. I gave a 5 STAR rating for the watch... not the case (box) it came in.
