I absolutely love this Bible. One pastor Stanley is my all time favorite pastor. So his guidance in life principles are on point and so amazing how much wisdom he had on spiritual things. I know he spent a lot of time in prayer! . I am blessed to be able to have this Bible!! I have literally wanted it for like 15 years so super excited. Spent the morning studying it with my coffee. I got the workbook too and wow. I am super excited. Just reminds me of watching him on tv and I can hear him talking while I read. Such wisdom. And I know the spirit spoke truth through him. Just think for me this is a game changer on my study of Bible.The Bible has marked principles and gods promises throughout. There is commentary for each book and preparation of the life principles. He seems to have done such an amazing job on the presentation of this and jam packed with details to grow in Christ and faith.Highly recommend for anyone and especially someone who may not have a lot of background so they can really learn.

Although this version only comes in “large print” this concerned me until I contacted intouch.org, Charles Stanley’s organization. They responded that it was larger print than most Bibles, but not huge.I found this to be true and actually was a good thing, because I don’t like tiny print.I did not realize that some Bible versions/editions continue to be updated, as is the case here, with the advent of new technology and knowledge.I prefer this edition over all others, because it is still sort of poetic, but it is without the KJV thee and thou. Plus, since the way I understand it, the King James Version was at the behest of the king, this may make it not completely reliable in my opinion.We know what happens to people who don’t please the king. Henry the Eighth, for instance.Charles Stanley’s remarks about verses in this Bible made simple things in verses meaningful in reference to other parts of the Bible.His site has sermon notes that are complete and stand on their own without having to watch every sermon on the site.I know typical television sermons are easy to automatically bypass, but Stanley’s sermons today are very interesting and inspiring. His sermon is on Saturday evenings, Sunday mornings and evenings on different channels of the same sermon.Charles Stanley, who has to be pushing mid to late 80’s is a treasure.I just skip the first five minutes of the music. You ought to give it a chance.He doesn’t spare any punches, so if you are wanting that younger dark headed trillionaire’s everything is rosey message, you won’t find it here.These days in religion, preachers are too often more concerned with not offending anybody, than with telling it to you straight. Stanley does not gloss over the truth, but he is not fire and brimstone either.

I truly love this Bible! It has the scripture, Pastor Charles F. Stanley’s principles to live by, as well as his commentaries. I followed Dr. Stanley’s ministry for years, and this Bible has been a blessing for me.

The look and feel is wonderful. The page graphic arrangements are well thought out and the information is spot on for the subjects in the chapters/book. If you want a nice study Bible that feels and looks good as well and quality built, this is it. My wife absolutely loves everything about this Bible.

I have purchased 3 in past couple months.2 WERE HARD COVERS. (2 different translations) & one in large print.I don't think by reading there is much difference in large print edition & NIV hard cover.As well I am certain notes are tidbit larger in NIV than in the large print edition.This is an AWESOME Bible b/c of the way it is done .You won't regret this LIFE PRINCIPALS Bible.I do think the leather soft one had slightly smaller font also than NIV hardcover.

I appreciate the commentaries that have been thought through and inspired by the Holy Spirit. It makes me appreciate God's word better and am enjoying reading the Word everyday. Thank you.

I have been collecting various bibles and translations. Charles Stanely & In Touch Ministries is by far the best Christian Ministry. Their products such as this bible are the very high-end of the spectrum, durable, perfect size, and come with a beautiful hardcover portable box.I love the gold-lined pages and traditional lightweight paper. The Study Guide and additional spiritual resources written by Charles Stanely are encouraging, helpful, and thoughtful.I strongly recommend this bible for yourself and or gift for loved ones!
