The generic soft foam pad that comes with these oversoles does wear out fairly quickly, but provides amazing traction on wet metal roofs. Highest recommendation for these lifesavers.

They simply don't work, i have better grip on metal roofs just with my work boots by themselves, i feel that the design is poor, the way they attach to the boots is just awkward as is walking with them, what were they thinking. The material of the undersole is regular foam and is really, really cheap , it started to fall apart just 2 to 3 min of walking on a smooth 6 pitch metal roof, i can't imagine what a shingle roof would do to them in a whole working day. To expensive for a good for nothing product

I have a standing seam metal roof. Living in the Pacific Northwest, we get pollen covering the roof in spring. Previously I'd found that crocs gave me the best traction on the roof, but only when it was dry--any bit of moisture and they were extremely slick. The pollen this year was also heavy enough that it was a bit slick when dry. I tried these Korkers and was AMAZED at the difference. On my roof covered with pollen, I could hardly make my foot slide when I tried. And when I was power-washing the roof, I tentatively tried stepping onto a wet section: the traction remained rock-solid! I'm not getting up on the roof again without wearing these.

so far so good for people mad about the white sole rubbing down fast its for a metal roof you need the other one for asphalt shingles

These overshoes are great. They really lock your feet in on METAL roofs. They are designed for metal roofs. The negative reviews baffle me. These are not for shingles or walking around the jobsite with. Metal roofs folks.

It's pretty disappointing that these don't work, I really liked them but the original pad they come with can't handle being on a steep roof for more than probably 30mins or so without being literally shredded away and i bought some couger paws replacement pads to see if they would work but the dimensions aren't even similar to the frame, the frame being wider and shorter then the pads. However the frame and strap itself is great no issues. It's really to bad those paws dimensions aren't the same, that would've been perfect

Not impressed at all. I was only up on the roof a minute or so and the foam was already coming off. I went back down because the roof was covered with little from crumbs. Also. the idea is flawed. After you force your boots into them, the boots no longer flex in the middle - which is where you get all your grip when climbing. The foam is completely useless and not in contact with roof when climbing. When climbing, I had a better grip without them. I would send them back but I missed the return video.

I really wanted to like this product and I do think it is a sturdy and well built overshoe but the velcro pads for composite (shingled) roofing left me nearly stranded. I used these on three roofs before giving up. The blue foam pads peeled off the overshoe while I was inspecting only an 8/12 pitch. The next roof was a 10/12 and one pad suddenly peeled off while I was walking down the slope, luckily I was almost at the valley and skidded down to it. They are probably okay for 7/12 or less, but then you won't really need them. I hope they improve the pad design as the actual shoe is very sturdy. I haven't had the chance to try the metal roofing pads so I can't comment. I'll be keeping them in case I need the winter ice studs as that looks promising.
