If it is too sharp, use a mini nail buffer to smooth it out so it doesn't damage nails!
It is just like the cuticle pushers you see at a nail salon. The only thing was that it was a little sharp where it would cause damage to the nail. I used a mini nail buffer (one of those small orange square ones) and sanded the inner part that presses against the nails and it is smooth and works like a charm now. Love it!
