Great hearts of palm but frequently arrive with very dented cans
I use alone or in salads.the product is excellent but many cans arrive dented.there is also too much taste and consistency variation.when it’s good it’s great.but many times it is not up to that standard.shame

These Hearts of Palm are the REAL DEAL
The person from Argentina (see very thoughtful prior review) is right! These are natural, delicious. And these hearts of palm not only are tasty, but also have just the right amnount of firmness. Unsurpassed anywhere!Hint to the seller: how about a break on price?

Nothing special.
Beware. This is a small can. Not the usual large can of Brazilian palmitos you would find at a local Brazilian supermarket. The palmitos were small, taste was acceptable but DEFINITELY NOT WORTH THE MONEY.

A Heart of Palm as it SHOULD BE!
In Multiple salads, a perfect enhancement to a "regular" salad. The product is firm, NOT mushy .....very tasty

The REAL Thing
I ordered these after opening so many disappointing cans of hearts of palm. My parents are from Argentina, where hearts of palm are a staple. I grew up eating them. Nearly all of the hearts of palm we bought here in America were delicious and matched the quality we got in Argentina. Then, hearts of palm got more popular and people started complaining that cans contained an occasional tough piece and the manufacturers responded by ruining their own product. So many of you have never tasted properly packaged hearts of palm. Most of the products out there have been overcooked to soften any possible tough sections of a heart. However, that produces a yellowish, mushy product that is nothing like the real thing.Well-packaged hearts of palm (HoP) are white, not yellowish, and they have layers and textures that range from tough(only occasionally) to crisp to soft. Yes, some HoP may come out of the can with a tough outer layer, but you can usually peel that away to get to an albeit smaller, but lovely piece of hearts of palm. However, the flavor of these hearts of palm is spectacular.Inexperienced people do not like to open a can and get one or two tough hearts of palm, so manufacturers cook the hell out of them so all of their product will be soft. However, that comes at a terrible price. These overcooked HoP loose their essential, bright, tangy, and slightly umami flavor of a real heart of palm.I bought these as a desperate attempt to find some good hearts of palm and because I remembered this brand from my childhood. I take off a star because these are exorbitantly priced. However, if you are craving REAL HoP over the pale, pressure cooked pap most sources provide, you just have to knuckle under and pay the price. These are the REAL DEAL and will open your eyes and tastebuds to what real hearts of palm taste like.
