Davidson's Organics, Chamomile Flowers, Loose Leaf Tea, 16-Ounce Bag

They were for my sister for her pain management and sleeping issues. She says they work wonders against all pains she has including sleep issues. They taste flowery the more you put in to steep, my sister doesn't mind the plant or flowery tastes. It goes great with honey. They also do great mixing with other teas. Be sure to get a fine hole steeper as they do have lots of little bits and parts. The bits that get into the tea are still edible, so they didn't bother my sister's sensitive stomach. The brand is definitely getting better at their quality. They were pretty bad for a while there. But I'm glad they're improving because they have great selections, amazing prices and big bags! Straight chamomile flowers with some stems sometimes, depends on the batch and harvesting. But chamomile is the only ingredient, and all parts of the stem, flower, petals and other parts can be used to steep! Don't throw away the petals that fall off, what my sister calls Fairy Dust all the stuff at the bottom of the bag haha. The bags have never had any sticks or leaves or rocks left in, no other plants, no additives, no preservatives, nothing but the flowers. Just like it should be!! And they are fresh every time! So far so good! Flower sizes differ depending on how good the growing season is and weather and all that. Not an issue as it does not affect the quality or potency of them.

I’ve bought Harney & Sons chamomile in the past and generally like their teas, but this Davidson’s Organics chamomile truly beats theirs. I was amazed at how many whole flowers were in the bag — no dust, no tiny broken pieces, just beautiful, full blossoms. The flavor is pure chamomile, clean and soothing, and a little goes a long way. On top of that, the value is unbeatable. You get a generous amount of high‑quality, organic chamomile for a great price, and the taste is every bit as good as Harney & Sons. If you drink chamomile regularly, this is absolutely the smarter choice. Fresh, fragrant, and long‑lasting — I’m genuinely impressed.

This is a large, full bag of organic chamomile flowers at a great price. Compared with other large bags I’ve seen on Amazon, it may even be a little less expensive. The packaging is attractive and convenient, and the resealable closure helps keep the tea fresh. It also arrived pretty quickly, and I appreciate that it was available to purchase with EBT. I brewed some yesterday and really enjoyed it. It has a pleasant honey-like aroma and a nice flavor. I like my chamomile tea strong, and this one makes a satisfying, flavorful cup. Overall, it’s a good-tasting tea and worth trying. I’ll keep enjoying the bag and decide once I’ve finished it whether I’d buy it again.

Excellent Flavor. Egyptian chamomile is quite tasty, fruity, mild and has many benefits. Davidsons is organic and is packaged in 1 lb resealable aluminized bags, which maintains its freshness without exposure to micro plastic. Instructions from Davidson state use 2-3 teaspoons but 1 heaping teaspoon is more than needed. Buy a separate infuser pour with boiling water and close steep for 3-5 minutes for excellent quality tea.

Flavor is very subtle, I'm using this to calm down and sleep: I can't say it makes me sleep a lot better, but I feel calming from it; all in all it does what I wanted to do and is priced well.

This review is for the 'Herb Chamomile Flower' variety. I almost gave it five stars - Chamomile flavors can vary widely sometimes, this to me has a nice, rich, balanced flavor if you use the right amount - & this product seems to be very effective in the herbal properties attributed to Chamomile, even when the tea drinker expects it not to work (my own skeptical mother). but too much of my time was required finishing the processing to merit THAT good of a review. I set up a little station and just inspected/sorted the whole pound for detritus & stems as I packed it into tins and jars for storage. The weight of the removed material, pebbles & small piece of metal included, was barely negligible. The desiccated snail made me question the Kosher rating, but I am not very familiar with the Kosher laws. That is how they have this so cheap, mechanically harvested & minimally processed, so if you expect to open the bag & find a pristine product prepare to pay much more $$$ per ounce. This was still a great $$$ deal per ounce even figuring my time invested and items removed. But I did not dawdle over the task & complain, I just jumped in & got it done. It would have cost me much more land/time/labor to grow, dry & process that much chamomile flower myself! I also very much like that the Davidson's Bulk Tea subscription allows you to select from their different products for each shipment!

These are truly golden flowers! They are whole, clean, and smell just like fresh ones! I will always order them; I’m a fan of this brand—I used to order their bergamot and lavender tea, but it’s no longer available, which is a real shame …

The taste is awesome! Looks and taste fresh. Very well packed. Loved the size, 1 pound bag. It does relax but my purpose here is digestive. Excellent!👍🏽🌼
