Bought this a couple weeks ago and used it for the first time this week to power wash my Ipe deck after applying cleaner/stripper. I selected this unit because of the lower pressure and higher flow which is recommended for wood deck cleaning. The washer works very well - I used the 40 degree nozzle, it did a nice job of removing the cleaner/stripper with little risk of damaging the wood (unless you get within ~4"). There is noticeably less pressure than the 3000 psi pressure washer I am accustomed to renting - the gun does not kick back as much. This is a good thing when pressure washing a deck. Overall I am very happy with this pressure washer - it's nice and compact, great design. Looking forward to using it on my car next.

I got this power washer using safety points from my job. Just received it today. Took less than 10 minutes to assemble. I already used it to clean my grill which took no time at all so I decided to clean my concrete patio. This power washer is fantastic. The foaming gun works better than I expected. Power is more than enough for jobs around the house. Unit does not feel cheap and is very compact. Even though I didn't spend money on this if I had to I would. Price point is right on.

Works great. Not too loud, portable, great gpm and PSI for car detailing. The gpm and PSI actually are advertised with numbers that you will actually be using. Alot of these other brands will show gpm and PSI based on using the 0 degree nozzles which you would only use to spot clean concrete. Active will actually give you 2 gpm and 1.1k PSI using a 25 degree nozzle. Only con is that you do have to buy a m22x14 adapter if you want to use most foam cannons out there, not too big of a deal. The best option around $200 if you using to detail cars

UPDATE The unit I have now has no issues. I am really happy with the performance of it. It provides a good amount of pressure and runs much quieter than my previous pressure washer. ———————————————————— I purchased this pressure washer for a permanent installation in my garage. Everything was going fine until the machine started to surge. I checked the inlet and outlet fittings to ensure that the water flow wasn't restricted. The problem reoccurred intermittently over two more uses until something failed and water came pouring out of the pressure washer body. I have been trying to reach customer service for warranty support. I will update this review based upon that experience. [UPDATE] I finally reached customer support via email. Several voice messages were left on the support number in the documentation. I never actually spoke to a person. After going through several steps to document the issue Active agreed to send a replacement pressure washer. Today I unboxed and set up the replacement unit. It failed in exactly the same way as the original. When I powered it on the motor made a high-pitched whine and something inside the unit burst creating a significant leak from the body of the unit.

This pressure washer seemed great at first. I think I'm convinced that an electric pressure washer is the way to go for washing cars and motorcycles. It's very effective and uses a lot less water than a garden hose with a regular spray nozzle. Unfortunately this one started having problems after about four months of weekly use. It still puts out good water pressure but it cycles on and off when there's no flow happening. I contacted the manufacturer and they replied with a list of things to check and some accusations about incompatible accessories and overuse. I checked everything and confirmed my accessories were supposed to be compatible and that I'm not using it for a business. I got more suggestions about going back to the accessories that came with the unit and a general blowoff email. If you buy one of these, just know that is isn't built to last, there are no replacement parts or any repair service available and the manufacturer doesn't care once they have your money. It's just another poorly made, temporary product meant to eventually take up space in a landfill somewhere.

I did extensive research for a pressure washer for mainly my vehicles and odd job around the house. This Active VE52 kept coming up. I'd never heard of it but have heard of Caterpillar and they make the pressure washer for them. So I figure I'd buy from the source and not spend the extra for the name Caterpillar. With an 1800 psi rating it puts out 2GPM! There are some that are rated 2500-3000psi not putting out 2GPM. This machine here is a BEAST! It is well designed and hold everything neatly and doesn't take up a lot of room to store! Best pressure washer I've had and worth every cent!

I have had this pressure washer for almost a year. It works great. I have cleaned my concrete patio, my vinyl siding and wash my cars and mowers regularly. The device folds up small and neat and is easy to transport and store. Do yourself a favor and get a set of quick connects and it is so easy to setup and tear down. I had a good gas pressure washer for the past 10 years. It did have a stronger spray but this new one has done everything I have asked of it. I had an issue with the pressure washer after about 6 months. I called the customer support line, got a real person immediately, and they solved my problem promptly. You have to love a company that takes care of their customers. I have recommend this device to friends and I am planning to buy a second device so I can permanently connect one in my garage and have a mobile one.

I've had this for almost 3 years and it is still great. I'm always looking for new tec but when you look at real world flow numbers nothing beats this for the price. I use it for car and concrete washing.
