This is a great adapter to use your older lenses with the new RF system from Canon! I switched to the EOS R camera last year and love the new mirrorless cameras from Canon. I have so many EF mount lenses that I have collected over the years and didn't want to sell them and fully switch. This adapter allows me to use my older lenses on the EOS R mount system. I like this adapter for three reasons. It is works perfect with my EF mount lenses. I was worried my EF lenses wouldn't work as smoothly or quickly with the autofocus works amazing. It's like having a native RF mount lens on the camera. An example is, I can use my EF 24-70 MK2 2.8 L on my EOS R and it works perfectly. I tested it vs my Canon adapter and from what I could tell, it worked the same. Price & Availablity! It is half the price of the Canon adapter. There is a shortage of adapters lately. I'd say over the last 3 months it's hard to find the Canon RF to EF adapter, this one was in stock and is a great option. Build Quality. It feels solid and has a rubber gasket for protecting your lens and body from dust. It's slightly lighter and I'm always happy so shave off weight from my camera setup. I picked this up and keep it on my 35mm 1.8 lens. I love having it always adapted. It makes switching lenses so quick and easy. If you need an adapter for your EOS R, R5, Rp, or R6...This is a great option.

Works well with Canon R100. Does add some weight to the overall camera, as to be expected.

I am using this with a new Canon EOS RP. I probably would have bought the Canon adapter, but I really wanted to use my new camera with my old lenses and there was no indication when Canon would be shipping adapters again. I was a little concerned about the reviews that said that it did not hold the lenses snugly. I certainly did not want my lenses falling off in the field. Maybe there is some variation from unit to unit, but the unit I have works well with my two EF lenses (70-200 mm, and 70-300 mm). There is a very small amount of rotational play at both the adapter to camera interface and the adapter to lens interface, but it is slight and I definitely do not feel concerned that my lens will fall out. They click into place firmly and there is no way you are going to get them off without depressing the release lever and rotating them back to the release position. There is no discernable play along the axis of the lens at all. My autofocus works perfectly. I agree it would be nice if there was zero rotational play, but I am still going to give it 5 stars. I am happy I can use my lenses on my new camera.

Fits my OM-3 snuggly and attaches to my EF 35-350. Autofocus works well but lens moves a bit once attached to the adapter. Despite some “clicky” back and forth movement it seems to function just fine.

This works well with both my Canon R and my Canon R6. No problems with any lenses that I have used for this so far. Affordable and easy to use. highly recommend recommended.

Arrived safely! Easy to install, has survived one known fall from about 3ft, and it is compatible with my camera.

Me gustó mucho este adaptador porque desde el primer momento se nota la buena calidad. Los materiales se sienten resistentes y bien acabados, además de que funciona perfectamente para las cámaras canon R. Lo he estado utilizando varios días y hasta ahora todo ha funcionado perfecto. Por el precio, considero que vale totalmente la pena. Sin duda volvería a comprarlo y lo recomendaría a otras personas.

Al principio tenía dudas vista las reseñas, pero me parecía caro pagar 119€ por el adaptador original de Canon. Al final este ha servido de sobra para mí, parece robusto y el ajuste con los diversos objetivos EF/S que tengo es perfecta. Dispongo de objetivos de Canon, Tamron y Yongnuo y todos funcionan a la perfección, el único que dió un problema al principio (antes de actualizar la cámara al último firmware) fue un tamron 70-300mm que daba error de comunicación, pero tras la actualización de la cámara ha funcionado a las mil maravillas, con un enfoque rápido, teniendo en cuenta las limitaciones de cada objetivo. Veremos como se porta con el tiempo, pero en principio, parece que va perfecto.

Molto buono, provato con obiettivi Canon, Tamron, Sigma e yongnuo. Funziona con tutti…veloce ed aderisce senza nessun gioco sia al corpo macchina sia all’obiettivo. Molto soddisfatto. La gestione generale di Amazon sia come spedizione che come servizio clienti non ha concorrenti.

I given it a thorough test in a variety of climates, and with a very heavy 600mm lens. It’s strong enough to support the lens and has not had a problem. Seems to work very well.

This just works, no issues whatsoever. I use it for my eos r7 with my Canon EFS 17-55, ef 70-200 f4, and ef 85 f1.8
