Great show!! I want more
Love this series!! It's a little slow moving at first, though every scene and shot has purpose and directly adds to the show. It gets better with every episode. Love the main characters and actors. Ayesha Dharker and Sanjeev Bhaskar are phenomenal!! Another great series from the BBC.

Enjoyable series.
This was an enjoyable series. The complications of this world getting smaller and different groups of people learning to get along with each other. Surprised that it has come to an end good acting and plots. Thank you

Loved all 3 seasons so far.
Love this show. So rare to find a TV show devoid of unnecessary foul language, violence, nudity, etc. these days. One that just has a fun story about a group of off-beat, entertaining, slightly eccentric characters. The Indian Doctor is similar to Doc Martin, minus the completely cranky doctor. But it is still a fun show.

Season 3......so far so good!
At the time of this review I've watched only 2 episodes of season Three. Will write further once the entire season has been viewed.I would not have purchased this season if not expecting it to be at least on par with previousSeasons which are superb.

Nice period drama
Lovely period drama, great characters. Very disappointed and surprised that it ended after three seasons.

Namaste
If only they would make 50 years more of this I wouldn't have to go outside in the Texas sun and burn.

Five Stars
The story continues... The characters are still fresh. Mindless entertainment. No politics.

A pleasant surprise!
I was pleasantly surprised by the standard of this series. I enjoy the talent of Sanjeev Bhaskar and loved his role in "Unforgotten" so decided to risk purchasing the 3 series of this show.To say that both I & my husband enjoyed it is an understatement. The story lines are great, the scenery is spectacular and the development of the characters is clever.I am only disappointed that there is no more to watch. However I know we will be re-watching this again in the future.

Not one of the best
Excellent acting. wonderful scenery but unfortunately the story-line only deals with one subject which makes it rather boring. Not one of the best. I recommend this with great reservation.

The Indian Doctor Series 3.
Have been asked to review this series 3. To cut a long story short my partner and myself watched Series 1 series 2 and series 3. Enjoyed the complete series. Sorry when we came to the end. These series have something of everything! Humour, nostalgia, some "nasty characters", touch of sadness and a satisfying ending. Watch the entire series!!

Great for family nights and people who dislike violence
I bought Series 1–3 as a set and was not disappointed. This could be described as family viewing and slightly simplistic but gave a very good feeling of a small village in the UK in the early to mid-60s, the problems newcomers face in fitting in (anywhere), and the changing social mores of that era. The camera work is gorgeous in most scenes. There are many funny moments, but would describe it as more of a drama than a comedy. Everyone here enjoyed it and it is now lent out to an Indian colleague and her family, who are also like it very much.

Good doctors know their business and save us from Dx.
Having seen Series I and II this is a must to complete the series of good will and good people versus village villains.Historic ion its own right of the silicosis of miners in that area of the UK
