This is an affordable, accessible, and effective product for my chronically dry lips. Every winter without fail it is my savior. It doesn't build up film on my lips, it hydrates well, tastes neutral (for when I swallow it by accident), and a tube goes a long way. However, this will be my last purchase. I am moving toward a lifestyle where I incorporate more cruelty free products into my life. After owning my dog and learning more about animal testing and actually taking the time to educate myself where and when I can, I think this is the least I can do. I won't be able to live a 100% cruelty free life, it's just not realistic. However for things that aren't required like makeup, lip balm, extra products in my life, it's considered a luxury purchase. And for those items, I will be going cruelty free because they're luxury purchases... I don't require it to live even though it makes life more enjoyable. I love this product and it works so well, and winter is coming up. However, I can't justify supporting optional products in my life and choosing to not buy cruelty free versions.
