31.5" USCutter Laserpoint II Vinyl Cutter Bundle - Sign Cutting Plotter with Design & Cut Software

I've had this cutter for about a month now and it has worked perfectly. I'm a graphic designer and wanted something I could use as an add-on service for clients who may need some basic business signage or trade show graphics quickly. I've never used a vinyl cutter before so this package was perfect because it came with everything I needed to get started, most of which I wouldn't have even know I needed beforehand. I initially had an issue installing the driver on my Windows 10 laptop but with the online instructions and a couple restarts I was able to get it up and running. Being familiar with design programs I found the bundled VinylMaster software to be extremely easy to use. The cutter came with a stand on wheels that makes it convenient to move around in my home office. Also, the cutter can be lifted off the stand and set on a table with the included table-top vinyl roller. This is a great feature as I was able to take the cutter, without the stand, to a client's location and design and cut vehicle signage and laptop decals for the client right in their office!

Placed a phone call to Tech support today as I was trying to recalibrate the machine after a blade replacement and had just been having poor quality cuts. The control panel has not been controlling the machine properly, and now the SELECT and ENTER button function as the same button. I can no longer actually select different menu options. The 4 directional arrows control the roller, but not the cutting head. The arrows do not follow what they once used to. No problem, I found the replacement control panel for $60 on their website...only when calling tech support to find out that because the Laserpoint 2 has been replaced by the Laserpoint 3, the possibility of the Control Panel coming back in stock for a Laserpoint 2 is pretty unlikely. I was told the only option would be to buy a new machine. $600 and 2 years of cutting here and there - not even heavy use. We cut small 6"-10" stickers for a company....

It did not work the supplier told me that I would have to open it up and replace the motor . Poor customer service poor products.

I’ve been using it for quite some time and have had minor issues with cutter motor getting stuck on one side and had to power off and on several times. Never the less its kept performing well for MANY projects. I have been using it often for about a full year now or a bit over a year and would say is a great value for money. Cuts excellent and the software is very good. Dont hesitate to buy it.

I am a total newby with cutters and this cutter. Start-up had a long learning curve... the instructions were hard to find and the drivers didn't work for a while... but I gave it an old Windows XP computer to drive it. I finally got it to recognize the printer, then I had to manually adjust (repair) the cutting head that shifted in shipping. Youtube to the rescue. It took a long time to get the first sign printed... probably watched 10 youtube videos and spent many hours getting the USB driver (Win XP) and then the print head working. That said, now I like it, it seems to be working great and the first sign turned out just fine. Now I need to perfect my weeding skills. So, 4 stars for delivering a nice cutter at a good price, with a nice selection of software and start-up tools. If I wasn't a technical support engineer myself, I might have dinged them on the balky print head, missing instructions, and general complexity in assembling and getting it to work. But ultimately it works great.

At first my shipping order was all messed up. Missing items and I have to say there was a typo on the add. I contacted USCutters, after talking with the superior visor he really took care of my situation. They mail me express the missing products even when it wasn't my fault. I started using the plotter and I have to say I had so much fun making new items. I started a small business with both the products. The plotter was difficult at first but once I learned how to operate I always use this product. Very handy when I have to do advertising for our company. I love the fact that I have all different angles that I can make money with this product. USCutters you made my life so much easier Thank you.

This is everything you need to start. Great product. The only thing lacking was instructions included. But if you are a resourceful person you will be able to handle this with no problem. Great Value! Great Price!
