MORRIS 10 Inch Human Hair Mannequin Head, Kinky Curly, with Clamp Stand

This 100% human hair mannequin exceeded my expectations. The hair has a natural curly/coily texture, and while some shedding is normal on the first wash (as the product mentions), the amount was very minimal—no bald spots or clumps. The hair came untangled and dense, and the curls reverted beautifully after misting with warm water. I sectioned the hair into eight sections (four front, four back), used a separate conditioner for slip, and finger-detangled before using a wide-tooth comb. For washing, I used SheaMoisture Jamaican Black Castor Oil Shampoo and Conditioner, keeping the hair braided during washing to minimize friction. After detangling and conditioning, I styled the hair into 17 brick-layer plaits to keep it stretched and protected, then covered it with a scarf and bonnet. The mannequin also came with the included clamp, which I paired with a tripod for easy, stable setup. Overall, this mannequin is braid-friendly, easy to work with, and perfect for practicing natural hair techniques when handled properly. Highly recommend!

10/10. Texture is very natural similar to mine so very easy to work with. I sprayed it with water and worked in some conditioner to de tangle before washing it and that cause minimal shedding. I was shocked, a happy shocked. After some water the curls are bouncy and great.

10/10 would recommend!! I didn’t get pictures when I took her out the box but I did get them after washing. I read up on plenty of the reviews before buying this product and here is my list of experience with it so far: *Smell- my mannequin had no weird smell. *Shedding- yes it does shed lightly as you detangle it for the first wash & it does comb through well. *Texture- almost reminds me of my own hair texture (natural, thick & curly when wet). *Washing- it does wash good and it air drys with its natural curl pattern. *Blow dry- I haven’t tried to blow dry it, I’d rather it air dry because I don’t know for sure if the curl pattern would ruin. *Dye/Bleach/Flat ironing- I haven’t tried to do either and don’t plan on doing them so I don’t really know how well the hair may hold when it’s done. *Packaging- cute box/mannequin and table clamp was sealed with plastic and the mannequin hair was protected with an hair net. *Table clamp- I haven’t tested it out for myself yet but it feels like it’s heavy duty quality. I was super excited to FINALLY order myself a mannequin head after years of wanting one. Her hair & skin tone is flawless👏🏾.. I love her already and I know you will too! I hope my review helps!

Recommend it

Great mannequin to learn on instead of using your kid as the guinea pig. It does smell even after double washing (used cold water then leave in conditioner). I appreciate how the texture is similar to my daughter’s hair type. There are a few bald pieces but it doesn’t prevent learning technique.

Bad odor and shedding

I really like the texture of this mannequin head. All I used is water and conditioner and the texture loosened up and allowed me to detangle it with a wide touth comb. Afterward I sectioned it off and then washed and conditioned it like I would my own head. The curls afterward came out beautifully. I can't wait to learn how to braid with this. The texture is very realistic. The product did have some shedding but it was not massive.
