My Rainbow Children’s Night Light Projector – Bright Rainbow Projector

Actually impressed with casting of the rainbow. But only the blue and green colors are bright and highly visible. Serves the purpose though, my girl loves it. It seems like it will easily break though and she wants to use it as a flashlight and aim it around the room so I had to put it in a high place.

The product has an overall cheap feel to it, but it does exactly what it's supposed to: it casts a beautiful, vibrant rainbow. I bought this as a gift for my toddler niece and now my teenage daughters each want one too.I installed batteries (not included) and tested the device before wrapping because I was skeptical. There is a thin protective plastic film over the metallic strip that produces the rainbow, and it's important to remove the plastic in order for the device to work. I wonder if that's the cause of the problems some people seem to be having.I'm very happy with it and I would gladly buy it again. I'd like to find a product that did the same thing without looking like it came straight from 1985, something more elegant or modern. But for what it costs, it's just fine as is.

This is a gem for how cheap it is! When I opened it, it was a little smaller than expected but still super cute for our 1 year old. Its lightweight but doesn't feel flimsy or cheap. When I plugged it in the rainbow seemed very weak and blurred. I took a closer look at it and scratched at the reflective strip on the base. There was a film protective cover over it. You have to really scratch at it because its hard to get off there's still pieces of the film in the corners. afterwards, Beautiful rainbow! Bright when pointed towards a wall.A little sad that it didn't come with an ac adapter. And I don't like that it shuts off after 15 minutes when its plugged into the wall. It makes sense to shut off with batteries, but not when plugged in. Also, I prefer to plug it in because the light isn't as bright when using batteries. I don't know if it eats through batteries, but I wouldn't imagine so.Our son got ahold of it and threw it on the floor, and it seemed to be broken. The base had snapped from the rainbow revealing the wires hanging by them. It was not broken though I pushed it right back into place. Maybe it wasnt all the way in place when we got it because I tried to pull it back apart and I couldn't. Feels like super glue.All in all, I am so happy with this thing. Its so cheap!!! We are broke as a joke and I wanted to get our son nice things for his birthday. I would call this a nice thing. Our son loves it so much he can't stop saying ooooo. During the day he likes to carry it around like a toy, which I am comfortable with. He can't pull it apart or eat it. Plus he has since dropped it and it hasn't snapped again. The only reason I probably wouldn't buy this again is its 15 minute shut off function. It would be a perfect night light to have on all night just to see in the room... So that disappointed me. Other than that I highly recommend. Can't beat the price

Got this for my 5 year old granddaughter (for Christmas) whom wanted to have good dreams under the rainbow. It worked for a few months; then, adapter didn't work and one color faded. So, switched to batteries and one by one colors all faded. After less than 4 months it does not work..no colors at all. And she is so sad that she can't sleep under the rainbow anymore. Return window is closed. Tried contacting seller by going to their website and no luck,

It is a small light that you press the button and it makes a rainbow in the dark room. The only negative is that the with light to make the rainbow is kind of bright so you have to try to put it somewhere that won't shine in your eyes. My 3 year old lost interest pretty quickly.

This is a neat toy. It projects a bright colorful rainbow that can be seen very clearly against the wall. When the button is hit, it fades up slowly and fades down when hit again to turn it off. My niece loves it except she likes pushing the button a lot. So we kind of need to tell her to push it once and wait.

It's a cute light, but it broke after a few days. I wouldn't buy this for any kid under 4--it's too fragile.
