Review: A FRENCH COMEDY FOR ALL - This is another winner from the French farceur, Louis De Funes, playing a dictatorial restaurant owner. Things go nuts when a South American diplomat disappears in De Funes’ plush eatery. The production values are absolutely top notch as is the flawless blu-ray transfer from Gaumont Studios. The disc will play in all regions and English subtitles are provided. A must. Review: Classic French comedy - Classic French comedy. Granted it will take time to get use to it if it is your first introduction to this kind of humor.

Classic french Comedian
I can only say that I wish this was available in English subtitle. I saw the film at a French film festival and so enjoyed it that I ordered. Unfortunaterly only a French edition seems to exist at this time on Amazon.

Un autre chef d'ouvre signé De Funès
All the laughing takes place in the first half of the movie. The second half becomes more serious. Still, it is a great De Funès movie. He is hilarious, as always. STRONGLY RECOMMEND this movie for De Funès fans.
