I purchased kaito ka11 last year. It worked for some time, and became dead,no display no switch on,can you help to fix it is it possible for you.

Dear customer never think to buy that radio I had one  at first I was happy but later this radio work terrible. it turn on and turn off sudenly with terrible noise turn on before the timer selection work interference grew up, I an looking for another radio.
I have one pocket radio instead that radio and also I has several Apps in my phone with beutifull sound.MyTecsun PL-606 Digital will be destroy by my hammer soon, frend look please a diferent option. Good luck

is this product good in nrecieving shortwave frequency?

I did not concentrate on its shortwave reception; its programming was a little iffy, and it would lose settings for stations often.  I found it extremely difficult to program for a simple radio - could have done with a lot less bells and whistles, which would have made basic prgramming less tentative.

It's been some time since I discarded mine for failure to function, also.  However, it did work well for several years.  I sometimes found it helpful to remove all batteries and wait a few minutes before reinserting them.  Other than that, I believe when it finally failed, that step no longer worked.  Good luck with it.
