This lamp is one of my favorite purchases! After researching what I wanted, I found this exact lamp on Amazon for a much better price! You can get more or less lighting depending on what you need with the added lights on the sides. Very sturdy!

Brightens up a dark bookcase-wall and the whole room. Easy to assemble, good-looking, level and stable. Nice tall height. Top light dims on the switch. Cone lights independently switch on/off.FLAWS: 1. Comes packaged in a boatload of unconscionable styrofoam. It will take me two garbage-pickup cycles to get rid of it all--sending it all to landfill! Left styrofoam crumbs all over the assembly that required repeated vacuums. Very hard to clean up. Who uses Strofoam anymore? I admit the product arrived in good condition but the company makes the general public pay for its poor packaging choices.2. My particular unit had a manufacturing dent in the base (see pic). That wasn't incurred in shipping--it was a factory error and should have been culled. Not serious enough to send back (not that I could repackage it). It's a liveable disappointment.3. The bulb sockets in the top "torchiere" part are mounted too close together. The bulb of each light touches the socket of the other. No wiggle room to adjust it. I'm using 13W LED bulbs so risk of fire is small, but I will have to shop for a smaller form-factor bulb. That's a design flaw.Nothing is perfect, especially online, and this is not a cheap lamp, but overall, it meets my needs.

We really love it. It is heavy and sturdy. We had a similar design before and that was not very sturdy. So one day it fell , one of the side shades broke and we couldn't find a replacement. Also it doesn't look cheap like the previous one. Make sure to use the recommended bulbs in the side stems. We use LED 5.5 watts. At first we put brighter, more powerful bulbs and the enclosure started overheating.

I had my eyes on this lamp as the perfect replacement for a dated halogen torchiere that broke. When I got a price-drop notice, I grabbed it. The lamp is solidly made and was easy to assemble. Unlike similar models, the shades are all glass. The side lights, a feature that on some floor lamps ends up looking ugly, are small but adjustable, providing the extra illumination I needed to lie on the sofa and read. Looking forward to having this lamp for years to come.

After assembling it and cleaning up the styrofoam mess, the top section (2-bulb) didn't work at all. Also, the Dimmer function didn't work.The UPS store will not ship it back unless you repack everything perfectly in the giant styrofoam-filled box. Very annoying waste of time!!!

The pole lamp was a bit difficult to pull out of packaging but I managed to assemble it at 76 years old. I love the result. I paid?$100 more for a torchier lamp that only lasted less than 2 years at a local furniture store.

Pro:- Nice looking!- allows 2 bulbs on the top light for double brightness.Con:- I tried two LED light bulbs and both caused flickers. Neither flickers in a different light. Website said LED bulbs ok, but a black box on the light wire said incandescent and halogen only.- two wires comes out from under the stand, making it messy looking and difficult to pull.- Base is super heavy! Like maybe 20 LB!- Packaging breaks up super easily! flys all over my living room in hundreds of pieces!

This floor lamp allows me 3 big functions: room light, reading, and participating in zoom sessions. I couldn't be more pleased. Rather than the 3-digit assembly costs charged by a major company, a talented friend put this together easily and at only the cost of a dinner.
