It is great. It does need weather protection, staining. But I guess it is doable. The other thing, I wish the rope was longer. Otherwise, we love it. I am 120lb and I swing on it together with my 40lb kid on my lap (just for fun)! It is sturdy! The ropes look better in real life than on the picture. The most important thing to me was that it was LARGE enough for adult hips, as I wanted to use it too! All other swings in this price range are for kids only (15" wide or so). Maybe the swings for 80-100$ are sturdier. But we do not need it to last 10 years really. I honestly could not justify the $100 price for a piece of wood with two ropes. So as of right now it is all good. We are planning on staining it some time soon (a nice project with a toddler).

I order 2 of them because I really love the first one ,I have my son who is especial and he really loves it , so my daughter want it too , I recommend is good material and very strong .

Easy to hang came with everything I needed

This a a great little swing. The design in excellent and it appears really sturdy. We hung it from a tree and it's delightful. I love the ability to easily adjust the length of each side individually to get the seat balanced. I would have given 5 stars except for two things: I had to paint it because the wood is untreated and the rope is a little thin for holding on to while swinging. It would me much more comfortable with a thicker rope. Other than that, it's a great buy and worth the price.

This swing is sturdy and well made. It was really easy to hang from a tree in our back yard, and the height is very easy to adjust. It's big enough for adults to swing on, and the instructions say it is sturdy enough for up to 300 pounds. I tried it, and it worked great! My grandchildren enjoy it, too.

Not the sturdy seats I wanted.

I love that it wasn't painted so I could match it to my area. Swinging is good for core muscles, so at 71 years old, I still love to swing! I used my own ropes, though because the brown ones that cam with it didn't match. It's well made and a great bargan!
