14 oz. Pigment-Dyed Large Canvas Tote

This bag is the BEST! After wearing out a cheap canvas bag from another company, I knew it was time for something new. I saw this on Amazon and decided, after researching other options, to buy this bag. I'm so glad I did! It fits all my needs perfectly. It goes everywhere with me and is my purse, diaper bag, church bag, dance bag, and goes with me to work where it holds my lunch on the way. If you're a woman who wears a lot of hats like I do but doesn't want to change bags several times a day, this bag is for you. I'm thinking of customizing it with flair, patches, or ribbons sometime to really put my mark on it. (I do think most of the colors would work for men too.)This bag is sturdy. The canvas is THICK, and with the extra layer of canvas on the bottom of the bag, I don't think it can ever wear out! The seams are all double-stitched. The straps are several times thicker than the canvas and are some kind of weaved, soft, but sturdy material. The bag is larger than I thought it would be, but like one reviewer said, I feel like I can carry everything I need without injuring anybody around me. And, I'd rather have a bag that had a little extra room in the top than a bag that gets stuffed. At first when the bag seemed a little too large, I stuffed the top corners into the bag toward the handles, and it changed the shape of the bag enough to really make it look smaller. That said, I NEED all that space at times as I go from work to dance to a family activity (diaper bag), etc. With all this, my bag is never heavy.I ordered three different colors, and this is where I dropped one star from a perfect rating. The way I ordered, two colors came from one seller, and one came from another. Thus, the packages arrived at two different times, and shipping was specified for each seller. I wish the process had been a little easier with this, but I'd do it all again for the way this bag has suited my lifestyle.It's important to me to have a washable bag. I have not washed my bag yet, but I have heavily used it for a month, and it still looks like new. It felt a little stiff when coming from the package, but it's soft once you put stuff into it. If my bag fades in the first washing, I'll be sure to update this review, but I seriously doubt it as it has never rubbed onto anything. Otherwise, consider these bags practically perfect.I bought a red bag for someone who will be doing some extended traveling overseas (as a day bag), and the denim color as a gift for someone who needs a big diaper bag soon. The colors are great. The red is not quite as vibrant as the picture shows, but it's still nice. The blue and gray hues are accurate. I ordered gray for myself, and it is a color that will suit any season or venue, really. I keep all my small purse-y things in a separate small, zippered clutch purse that can be found easily in the big space of the bag with all the other things I have to keep on me.I will probably order a few more to use for various purposes. You can't go wrong with this bag! Enjoy!

This is my new school bag for the Spring '13 semester because the one I bought from DSW for Fall '12 had a buckle, and that snapped within A WEEK!! I had one before that from a store deal where you buy a certain amount and they give it to you, and no surprise there, the strap snapped under the pressure of my books.I am in love, however, with my Authentic Pigment Tote!! So much so, that I have heavily considered buying another just to have a backup in the off-chance I lose this one, as I am known for losing bags and totes (strange I know.)The straps are double sewn, and have shown no signs of stress from my rather heavy load of notebooks and folders, plus textbooks and pencil cases, calculator, and more. At every moment, I have the folder and notebook for all 5 of my classes, and at least 2 textbooks and/or lab-books as well. My two pen/pencil cases are permanent fixtures, as well as the "clicker" that we use to take quizzes and such on in class. Overall, my bag likely weighs about 35-40lbs depending on the lecture I'm heading towards, or if it's my Physical Geology Lab.The gray of this bag is a hair lighter than in the picture, and I have attached a leopard scarf to one of the straps as a 'pop' of print/color and interest... and I'm sure I will change it to coral or turquoise when it gets warmer consistently.I LOVE the outer pocket, and use it for my keys, headphones, phone, and sometimes one or two other things.The inner pocket is perfect for a small bottle of tylenol or excedrin (I won't pretend Pre-Cal level math doesn't give me a headache at times!) plus my spare change/dollars for the water vending machines spread out around campus.The bag is incredibly roomy... I love that I can fit so many notebooks, folders, and textbooks in at one time. All of my notebooks are 3-subject, and I never feel like my bag is stressed from the weight or too stuffed to pull out anything.Love this bag!! Would, and probably will very soon, buy again!EDIT***I've had this bag over a year now, and still use it. It's my out-of town bag, overnight bag, and carry-on bag because it's just and easy go-to that can really handle it! Still love it, still holding steady!

Love, love, love this bag! Only complaint is that I wish the zipper pocket was a little bigger. I can't fit both my phone and my wallet in it. But since my phone fits nicely in the outside pocket, I can live with it.Now for the pluses. It's very roomy, has space for one or two crochet projects plus other stuff like drink bottle, wallet, phone, snacks, etc. I've been having to go with my mom to the doctor, (and wait for her while she's there) and got this cuz I was tired of bringing 2-3 bags, and it works perfectly for that. Once the doctor thing is over with, I'm going to be using it to store the multiple crochet projects I'm working on at any given time, unless I need an overnight bag (would work great for that) or just a big tote to haul whatever in.Also, it is very sturdily constructed, and the poppy color is really nice - a little washed out, still a little bright, but not glaring.All in all, a great bag, just wish that zipper pocket was a little bigger.

I just received mine in the mail. I bought it in One Size Java. Overall I am very happy with this product. Mine looks just like the picture and the size is perfect for my needs. I bought it as a storage and travel bag for my baby's Summer by your side sleeper. The height is not quite long enough to fully close but close enough. The quality of the bag seems great and I am considering buying another. The only reason I took out a star is because based on the reviews and Seller's description it seems that people have received different sizes and the description isn't clear enough to really be sure what size you are ordering. I took a chance and am happy I did though and may take a chance and order another. :)
