I don't usually write reviews on products, but I thought this might help a fellow bride to be one day. I had been looking tirelessly for some heavy-duty shapewear to wear under my very unforgiving crepe wedding dress. I found these and ordered them along with a few different pairs to try. As someone who has owned their fair share of Spanx, I'll admit I ALMOST didn't even try these on when I took them out of the bag. I felt the material and immediately thought there is no way something this soft and lightweight is going to disguise what 6 months of quarantine has done to this plump body. I must have been feeling uncharacteristically optimistic because against my better judgment, I shimmied into these babies and prayed for a miracle. I hesitantly approached my full-length mirror, and HOT DAMN there was no turning back. Every lump, bump, pudge, and dimple was magically smoothed over, and I didn't feel like I would pass out at any given moment if I were to wear them for an extended period of time. The built-in "hiney shaper" that is meant to give you two distinct cheeks might be my favorite part of these bad boys. It seems as though all of my other shapewear gives you a firm derriere, but at the price of having one enormous butt cheek with no definition. The top did roll down a little, but I believe that has more to do with me refusing to go a size up than the actual product itself. There is a seam that runs down the back of each leg, so make a note of that if you're wearing something skin tight. I would not have noticed it but for turning around in the mirror-I couldn't feel it at all. Shout out to the Spanx team for making these. I was so pleasantly surprised when I tried these on, and I would encourage anyone looking for a product like this to give these a try.

So I I can’t complain about Spanx. Great quality, but I think I got the wrong size. I bought a small and I weigh 120 - 123 lbs depending on the day and my diet. I was busting out of these and it gave me a muffin top. I will be honest and say I’m flabby. I haven’t worked out at all during COVID and here we are 2 years later. Anyway, if my stomach/sides were more toned these would have worked I suspect. So for now I’ll wear them with my babydoll dresses in the summer. Taking a star off for sizing. I bought the high waisted shorts in small and they fit perfectly.

Very disappointed in the durability. I only got to wear them once. I went to put them on for a second time and somehow ripped a huge hole in the crotch that made them unwearable. I am fairly gentle on my clothes and have never had an undergarment tear so easily. They were comfortable for the whole wedding I wore them to, but I expect more wears out the product for how much they cost.

Spanx are sort of hit or miss for me- and after reading through all the other reviews, I thought that these would be a great match for what I needed. I have a much thicker bottom than top, and I like to know that I won't have to suffer through an event with overheating thighs OR chafing. This seemed a good compromise, and promised that it also would have some minimal shaping. When I finally pulled them on (and yes, I struggled because of the size of my thighs and my booty, though the size chart said it would fit) I found that the undergarment was extremely thin, and that I had actually put my nails straight through the bum trying to pull it up. This doesn't even happen with reinforced tights. Long and the short of it, their lifespan is not worth the money that I paid for them. They do have the hold that they talk about in the listing, and they certainly are lightweight and prevent chafing, but if they can't even hold up to being pulled on ONCE how can I expect them to stand up to more severe wear and tear?

Loved! It’s not so difficult to put it on. The fabric is gentle to the skin. There are no seams. I bought two of them in the small size but different shades to wear under light and dark colors.

I will spare you all a pic of me in my spanx but let me tell you- after carrying twins my belly ain't what it once was. And as a busy mama I don't have The time nor do I think I owe society a flat stomach at 38 years old. I love my body just the way it is; the flab on my belly is part of the story of this body that has carried me through schooling, bad relationships, good relationships, the birth of the two most important people in my life as well as the body that walks into court and out litigates male lawyers all day! With that being said I do like my clothes to fit well and these spanx do that for me! They give me that little tightening right where I need it. I don't wear them bc I'm unhappy with my body. I love my body with all its imperfections. I wear them to make me feel good for me and no one else. Here's a pic of me in a dress with them on underneath. My belly in its natural state looks about 4 months pregnant. These spanx flatten me out to where I was in my 20s. They are wonderful and I can't say enough good about this brand. They don't roll down on me and they don't show though my tighter dresses at all. Money well spent!

The top band rolls down really badly to the point you get an awkward bulk underneath your clothes. Makes it really hard to get that smooth seamless look. Material is almost panty hose material and feels very flimsy. When I tried them on I was afraid of ripping them. Definitely returning these.

I purchased these Spanx to wear under a dress for a wedding. I love the way they make my dress look and feel so much smoother. I recommend being sure to follow the size chart as I had to size up,

They do not stay in place, the legs roll up, the waist rolls down, wore them once and put my finger nail through them. Very poor quality after all the hype about SPANX, I will not buy their products again

Ein tolles Material und ein toller Effekt allerdings ist es nichts für Leute mit viel Bauch da petzt es doch hier und da es ist allerdings perfekt für Menschen mit pro und Oberschenkel Problemzonen werde auf jeden Fall noch einige andere Produkte ausprobieren spanx ist eine sehr gute Marke... bin sehr zufrieden
