Very cold that lasts a while
These were very cold and stayed cold for a couple hours. Way better than Frida’s pads.

The best
These are the best ice pads for postpartum. I have also tried Frida mom but these stay cold for so much longer. This is the brand used by most hospitals as well.

Helpful postpartum
The best! Great to use postpartum for a cool ice pack. Easy to use and lasts about an hour. Comfortable and no leaking from ice pack.

Love these, help with recovery
I really love the ice pads so this was a worth it purchase after our second child. I was prepared and got them beforehand. I’d say they are most useful right after birth to 3-4 days after. Only 4 stars because I had 3-4 pads break open when I folded them to activate. I wasn’t being overly aggressive it just seems like some are more susceptible to damage and leak the fluid so they were unusable. But otherwise they worked great!

Postpartum necessity
Life savers after giving birth. These pads were very comfortable and the coldness was perfect for healing. The pad was easy to use. Great value for money spent. I would recommend for mommies to purchase these pads as you are discharged from the hospital.

Post-partum MUST HAVE
This is so necessary for anyone having a vaginal birth! These ice packs are easy to use, have some padding to help with lochia absorption, and they provide relief that even a glass of wine and a massage couldn’t touch. Highly recommend!!

Waste of Money (updated review)
This product was recommended on a baby blog for at home care after having a baby and the reviews here made it seem like a no brainer however I have had nothing but crappy results. I wish it came with with more exact instructions. No where does it say if these should be kept in freezer or just left in box. I am guessing from the instructions on the package that these are to be kept in box before folding them in half to set of the freezing chemicals but that's just and educated guess. Maybe I have a bum box but I decided to try them out since I kept getting emails from the company about leaving packaging reviews. I needed an ice pack for something else so figured this would be the perfect opportunity to try these out before I am over tired with a newborn. The first ice pack did nothing- never got cold- followed the instructions with no luck. Thought maybe it was just a bad one in the box or maybe user error since it was the first time I attempted to use another one today. Again followed instructions exactly and it got cold - yeah! _ NO... the cold lasted 10 mins and was not cold enough to actually give any relief. I now have a huge box and these suck. I will keep trying and review again if these get any better but so far it's such a waste of money. Will be heading to the freezer with some always pads and witchhazel. I had such high hopes for these!11/22 UPDATE:These are still over priced for what they are but I did learn how to make the work better in the hospital. The hospital provides these exact cold packs. The photo here shows them with a purple wrap but what I received and what the hospital gave me was more of a green color. Here is the trick- twist the product until you hear the pop and then remove cover. For me they would not get cold unless I sprinkled cold water on them and then shake them. This is what the nurses showed me in the hospital. They will stay cold for about 15 mins.
