Unless you have eaten chicken BBQ in North Central Alabama or South Central Tennessee you have probably never heard of white BBQ sauce or the Bob Gibson name, but in these parts, white sauce is standard for chicken and Bob Gibson restaurants well known in the Decatur, AL. area. Unfortunately for those of us who love white BBQ sauce who live outside this area, we have to have it shipped. At first, the idea of a BBQ sauce that was not red or brown seemed absurd - but I tried it and liked it. Years, later and 800 miles away I still do.

I saw a story on the Travel Channel about Alabama White Sauce. I had a friend who lives there to send me a bottle. My wife and I absolutely loved it on grilled chicken and as a dipping sauce on hot wings. I'm from eastern North Carolina and I love our barbeque sauce on pork, but Big Bobs is way better on chicken.

In the world of white sauces this may be amazing. In my world - not so much. I will admit I am not a fan of Carolina bbq and this product was to odd for me. To my pallet it was like I had some strange tasting ranch dressing. Yes, I made a chicken dish with it, and still I say not for me.

Can't do better than Big Bob's for a dipping sauce for roast chicken. Local favorite in North Alabama

This sauce was awful, I am not sure what type of food you put his on, it was inedible. If I can get a refund I would appreciate it. I would not recommend this product for anyone.

Tasted like factory sauce.
