I like that it has 2 filters on each side of it, and that it is small and does not take up a lot of room. On the low speed you can hardly even hear it, so quiet, on the high speed you can hear it, but if you are one of those people who needs sound to sleep, then the high speed fan could work for you. I love that it has a timer, for I have another air purifier on other side of house that doesn't and I always forget to turn it off. My other is a Biota bot and it has a color change feature that takes place when air quality is bad (red), back to purple then blue when air is clean. This Medify does not have that feature to let me know air quality BUT I ran the Medify in a room where the Biota bot always turned red, so after the Medify ran.. I brought the Biota bot in there to double check air quality and it did not turn red at all in any of the various different times and days I tried it. So the Medify is definitely purifying the air. Especially with covid I am so glad to have this Medify purifier with its higher grade hepa filters.

I have (I'm somewhat embarrassed to admit) four of these purifiers. They do a fabulous job and have helped my allergies a great deal. With COVID-19 being declared airborne by the WHO, I feel it's more important than ever to have air purifiers in frequently occupied rooms. Should anyone get sick an air purifier like this one can help caregivers avoid getting ill from COVID-19, the flu, or the common cold. In the kitchen and living room this purifier helps dramatically with odors. However, air purifiers can only tackle odors in the air, not those already embedded in fabric, carpet, or other porous items in the home. Something to keep in mind if you are hoping for total removal of long standing smells. The filters are expensive, but with the peace of mind medical-grade filtration brings I consider the filter costs as part protecting my investment and my health. This purifier has two filter sets, one set on each side. This allows for a great amount of air filtration even at lower speeds. With a CADR of 250 the MA-25 falls into Consumer Reports' "excellent" rating. Getting an air purifier for a larger square footage than you need allows for more frequent air cycling which means fresher air. I highly recommend this air purifier. For the money you get a machine rated for a large coverage area (500 sq. ft.) and an excellent CADR. Other purifiers say they cover "large" rooms and then you find their square footage limited to 300. This guy is small but mighty. I don't think you'll be disappointed in its performance.

I have bought several of these. Very few HEPA air purifiers are usable for extended time periods in normal conditions on the high setting due to the noise level. These are the quietist I have been around on the high setting (@53 dB rated by company confirmed with measurement in house using NIOSH app on phone). Still obtrusive, but you can have a conversation. Think somewhat loud dishwasher. Some others are about 10 dB louder but without providing more effectiveness. On the middle and lower settings they are nearly silent, although they don't move as much air, but good for small groups or small rooms - it would be nice if the company provided CADR data for the lower settings. These are excellent for bedrooms and small to medium living rooms and family rooms. They are lightweight and easy to move around so can be moved to rooms with an immediate need. We use them at home and in a classroom. I think they are a key reason why we have not had any transmission of Covid-19 in the house or classroom when an individual was known to be infected but nobody else caught it. OEM filters are expensive, but Fette and others provide after market filters at a substantial discount. In larger rooms, we use several of these instead of one large air purifier because you can clean zones of air in a room locally instead of drawing it to one central point and quickly reposition them in critical locations based on activities.

This is a nice purifier. It does have a couple drawbacks though On the high setting it sounds like a jet plane slthoigh I think all the purifiers are noises on high. The cord where it plugs into the back of the unit really needs improved. It needs to be a dedicated cord as it is you can plug it it in and out of the back of the unit which causes it to be loose and wiggles and comes unplugged easily when the unit is moved. The good is: I like the size of this. the controls on top are really nice and easy to use. This unit looks really good on my end table and works well for keeping the smoke from the wildfires out of my home. Iam please with this purifier and really like it. It works well. We live n th west and the air is in the red and purple due to all the wild fires this little purifier works great for removing the smoke.

We have a business laundry on site and even with the best filters on the machines it still gets dusty in the building. After installing one of these in our room the dust has become tolerable lol. We have a very large bedroom and this unit might be a little small for the area because there is still some dust but not nearly like there was before so it's obviously doing a great job filtering the air. We could tell a difference within the first night, I woke up feeling much more refreshed! By the second and third night, keeping our bedroom door closed, you could just immediately feel the difference in air quality once you entered the room. Headaches and sinus issues practically disappeared as well. I'm not exactly sure of my bedroom size but it fits a king bed, a bunch of furniture and exercise equipment with room to spare so it's fairly large and if you have a room that large I would go for at least one size up from this model maybe even bigger if you can because this thing would definitely keep the air pure then. I'm looking into a larger one now for our room and I'll just use this one in the office would probably be perfect size for that.

I was skeptical, but tried it and lo and behold works wonders for overall dust and cat fur. Every now and then I do a full power for 10 minutes to clear the room out good, but normally leave it on 24/7 on low and is very effective. Dust doesn’t build up, cat fur much more manageable, and it’s SILENT on the low setting. Ended up buying one for my mother as well. Even running all day every day the filter change is about once every three months. Great product from my experience.

I first saw one of these at my Dentist's office and decided I needed one of these and it has not disappointed yet. I've had it for about a year now and keep it in the kitchen for the primary purpose of getting rid of lingering cooking smells quicker than they would naturally dissipate. And this thing is absolute perfection it cleans the air such that the air is just clean rather than perfumed or ozone-smelling I LOVE it. I don't run it 24 hours, I only run it approximately daily and usually for 4-8 hours overnight and by morning whatever I cooked the previous night's smell is completely gone (even things that tend to linger longer than others like bacon). The timer is great the noise level is very low. Highly recommend this for people who like odor-free air and don't want that ozone smell other air purifiers give off.

Ive recently had renovatiin work done on my house and no matter how much cleaning i did i still ended up with breathing issues. after 1 night of using this in my bedroom i was 100 times better. Im buying one for each room in the house!! Can recommend enough. massive difference.

Made a huge difference in just hours. Have them both running at the second setting. The highest setting is a bit loud so I only use it while I'm away from the area.
