Easy mix with a 50/50 and glass clear you and encase stuff in the middle and be able to see it and if you mold it in a lens shape you can magnify what you have encased

I absolutely love the clarity of this product (clearer than counter top epoxy bought at HD, which has yellow tint) and the time it takes to set is 2-3 hours vs 24! I can get a lot done. Unfortunately, to get an absolutely no-bubbles it requires a vacuum degasser. Unless, you are doing professional work repeatedly, its not quite worth the hobbyists effort. Great product otherwise. I haven't found the perfect epoxy at the best price point for small amounts of jewelry yet!!!

This product is no joke. The fumes are very strong and last for days and days. I strongly recommend you use it outside if at all. It was not easy to create what you want on the first try, there seems to be a learning curve. It was delivered on time in perfect condition, no issues there.

One component was a thick as honey and the mix had almost zero working time. On page 3 of the MSDS/instructions it states that if the product is thick it has seen cold temperatures. You are then supposed to heat it in hot water(!) to "restore" it's original viscosity. Since we're in the middle of summer, I'm not sure how it saw cold temps, but I sure wish I'd known that before the first attempt at casting. Still not great the second time around, so I think I'll stay with other products in the future. I've used a lot of casting resins and have never had to heat and restore the product before use.

I can't stress how terrible this product is. I'm in an art and design competition and need to cast an item in clear resin. I made a fantastic rubber mold, and bought this product to clear cast my item. I read other customer's reviews on this product and saw that there was a possibility of some errant bubbles and to be honest, I was OK with that.The first disappointment was that the 2, 8oz bottles I received were only 75% full.I made sure to mix thoroughly and slowly-- and pour very slowly in order to have as few bubbles as possible. A few bubbles wouldn't ruin the project-- but what would ruin the project is if the resin bubbled up like a volcano; and unfortunately that's what happened. The resin quite literally bubbled with white frothy bubbles expanding and multiplying.I would not recommend this product.(In the photo I uploaded, I'm trying to cast a light bulb in the resin-- this photo was taken once I'd already thrown the mold / light bulb into the garbage-- hence the crinkling of the mold. This photo is merely to show the bubbling surrounding the bulb.)
