Astromania Anti-Vibration Pads come in a set of three, engineered to fit under tripod legs and suppress vibrations by nearly 100%. Compatible with most telescope and camera tripods, these pads prevent sinking on soft surfaces and protect tripod feet from dirt. Perfect for astrophotography, nature observation, and any precision imaging where stability is key.

Nice Sorbothane Pucks
Nice pucks for a better price than the name brand ones. I really don't see any difference between these and the more expensive ones with branding and different colors. I bought them to do vibration isolation for stereo gear, where they were not such a good match - no fault of the product though. They made the bass muddy sounding when inserted under my gear, so I asked to return them and Amazon arranged a return no problem. I'm sure they are great to absorb the frequency vibrations they were designed for and to go under optical gear but I can't comment on that. Sorry, this is a bit of a useless review but I wanted to give my opinion of the product being high quality and that folks shouldn't try to use the product for the purpose I did. I still don't quite understand the effects of various vibration control devices under audio gear - I would have thought these would have been great.

Work good and give a non slip point to put the tripod legs in
These pads work on my tripod to keep it stable and non slip on concrete.

Helps with Vibration/Damping
The โjiggleโ of stars, planets using high magnification eyepieces in my telescopes has been reduced. But it is not a โMagicBulletโ. You have to have a very steady mount that is well engineered - surprisingly few meet this basic element of visual astronomy. Younalso have to have heavy duty, solid tripod that again is sturdy and isnโt prone to vibrations/shaking. So the use of these pads reducing vibrations from the ground are important to improving the jiggling views My only real โcomplainโ is the slippery bottoms that provide reduced grip/contact with the ground. On a deck, the entire telescope can move under wind loads, especially lager OTAs that are almost like wind-sails. I glued some coarse fabrics to the bottoms of these โpucksโ and that has helped the skidding/slipping. Maybe if the manufacturer had considered this and made the bottom contact surface with an โabrasiveโ finish, this would solve the issue. Hence my 4 Stars Review.

Seriously, NOT buying these is a mistake.
Absolutely MINDBLOWING change in my guiding specifically because of these. I was entirely skeptical at first, but after nearly six months testing these there's no way in hell I'd ever setup my rig without them. Likely the single cheapest purchase with the best reward in my entire astrophotography rig.

They really work!
I was skeptical about these. My Telescope is small and it shakes really bad. And it doesnโt help that we get a lot of wind that just comes and goes. I got these today and tested them on Concrete patio. Almost no shake after focusing. The sake went from about 6 seconds to about 1. When youโre focusing on a planet that matters a lot. Iโm very happy. No they donโt slide on the ground and I donโt want them too. That would defeat the purpose of stability and anti vibration. Love emโ.

Doesn't remove all vibrations, just some. Maybe enough for you.
I put my scope on concrete and had a lot of wobble. These helped, but maybe by 20%.

Does the job
This does the job well for the price

Same pads as Big Brand Name.....But NOT the BIG Price
The Astromania Pads work well and eliminate vibrations as intended. The exact same pads are sold and marketed by other retailers and Telescope Manufacturers at a far greater price. The Astromania Pads give great value and are highly recommended

Floor Saver
Very handy in that they allow you to โslideโ the tripod around without any damage to the hardwood floor. Nice too that the legs stay centred in the cups. Would recommend

Good, but may need an antislip pad underneath
On my sixth-floor balcony, constructed from wood, these pads do indeed appear to cut down vibration. Before using them, and while doing planetary imaging, my neighbors footsteps would shake the image quite substantially. Since using the pads, that has drastically been reduced. The only thing I don't like is that they are a hard plastic bottom that doesn't feel secure on my balcony floor. I ended up affixing three strips of high density foam on the underside so they have some grip against the floor.
