This workbook with his videos are literally a game changer!! Im retaking my gsces as i wanted a higher grade and i've tried EVERY revision source and by far freesciencelesson is the best- thank you so much sir for making all your resources so accessible - you truly have helped so many :)

This is the best workbook I have come across. It guides the student through the subject matter and gives them a thorough understanding of the material. The answers provided are also excellent and it is easy for a student to work backwards if they do not understand a concept.

I loved the way the workbook complements the free online video tutorials. The book is well laid out with clear easy to follow diagrams and easy to follow questions. It is easy to use, and includes a practice GCSE style exam paper covering the chemistry syllabus + answers to all questions are available via a link. I think the workbook is great value and would recommend it to any student preparing for GCSE chemistry, or anyone supporting students in this subject.

These are a brilliant resource. When combined with the online video lessons, and online answers to the questions in the workbooks, I challenge any teenager not to be able to learn these science subjects, provided, of course, they actually put some effort in. The videos and books make everything so clear, and children that struggle with less than optimal teachers, will, I believe, suddenly 'see the light'! All the topics are 'bite sized' and very clearly presented.The books are produced to a high standard and are a bargain - with two books for each subject, if you buy nothing else, spend the £15.98 on these for each subject (and Amazon sometimes has offers on).Dr Donnelly is also very friendly and helpful should you need to contact him.Absolutely 5*s +.(My daughter is what might be termed an able but reluctant pupil, so I will update this review with her results next August!)
