Does the lid snap on or just sit over the bottom tray?

Two different cell sizes listed. 1.5 x 1.5, 1.9"x2.1"x2". Need to know so I can buy plugs. Which is correct?

Any idea why my domes all warped the first day I had them outside? They were just stacked up on my potting table. I hadn't even used them yet.
