It's a great item for working in small spaces. I am a machinist and in my job sometimes we have smaller work, mostly I work on larger rolls to take a hoist to pick up and put into the milling machine in order to cut keyways and drill and tap holes in the rolls, but on the smaller rows I do need those small files to help deburr around threads in the face of the rolls for the keyway start and they come in very handy and they seem to be very good quality and provide all the service I need is that I am performing my job tasks!

While I am not a luthier, I do take pride in doing most all of the work on my high-end classical guitar myself, and these files have been indispensable. The bone nut on the classical guitar should be filed with a triangular file (this is the Spanish method) because the triangular cut provides for more surface of the area of the string to contact the nut than the normal square nut-file cut that is usually used for steel strings allows for. The diamond triangular file was perfect for this. Additionally, I needed to make an adjustment on a new set of German-made tuners, and the other steel files in the set were perfect for filing the back of the tuners' steel plate to remove a couple of high spots due to the way in which the tuners themselves were put onto the tuner plates. The steel flat-file cut effortlessly. Also, the handy case keeps all of the files in order and in one place in the file drawer of my toolbox. Excellent set of files! I would definitely purchase them again if I needed to!

I had a set of small files but needed some with a handle attached. These work great and are easier to hold on to. I'm not sure how strong they will be if to much pressure is put on them. The case makes it easier to keep them contained.

Exactly what I was hoping it would be. Sometimes ordering online it’s hard to tell how big something is or how it will look. These are nice size for my small hands and the files are small enough to fit in the small areas of my jewelry making to use. And the pouch they come in is nice and sturdy not a soft floppy holder. This is well enforced corners and doesn’t collapse in, and it’s nice and thick to hold up against rough tossing or surviving in the toolbox. There are holders inside for each file to keep them separate so they don’t rub against each other. Highly recommend for small spots or delicate work.

These files are perfect. I restore religious statues and often have to smooth areas I have repaired whether they be made of resin, epoxy or plaster. The files look very delicate, but you can easily sand areas just by letting the file rest on the surface without added pressure. I have small hands and the files are not cumbersome in the least. Highly recommend!

These are nice little files. Reviews that claim they are brittle are ridiculous. They are small, so, of course you need to be careful, but they work great.

After my initial review, I was contacted by the company. I had used my files a few times. I don't use them for metal as they're intended, but for resin projects. Because of the lackluster quality of my files, I was offered a deal with them which made me very happy. I'm pleased to say that, even with the small defects, though the bent tip is annoying, they work perfectly fine on my projects. They've saved me a lot of sanding paper and a lot of elbow grease already.Original review:I don't know how some of these passed inspection. There's obvious rust on 2 of them, the tip is bent on another, something that looks like paint on another, and the entire right side had scratches all over them. Did quality control fall asleep or something?

Replacement for older files I finally wore out, great by for the money, glad I bought them.

Love how convenient this set is. Comes with both hardened metal and diamond type files.I used these for modifying plastic parts and fine 'plastic' work to get parts to fit together better.I think this will work well for plastic modelling or finishing 3D printed parts. Love that it comes with a brush to clean up the file after using. I used the brush after using the diamond files on plastic and the brush did a great job in getting all the plastic dust off the files.The handles are comfortable and I didn't have any issues with the files coming out of the handle that I've had with cheaper files.
