Exactly what I needed, works great!
Every now and then I really need to just inspect some traffic--be it for research or debugging purposes. The simplicity and ease of setup provided by the SharkTapBYP makes it, in my mind, a model tool for this job.Without drivers or any special configuration the USB interface is recognized and shows up in Wireshark. You may want to add a `not eth.src == <mac>` rule to filter out packets your computer tries to send out. In my case my computer kept trying to send DHCP packets through the tap interface. This is NOT a problem and very easy to filter out.
