AUTENS AC Digital Meter AC 80-260V 100A Current Voltage Power Energy Panel Monitor (AC 100A Meter with Split Core CT)

This module is small and directly powered by the AC line. I was able to assemble it and its coil CT into a 4x4x2 Carlton PVC junction box. Most important to me is its ability to totalize power consumed (KWH). Unfortunately there's no room for a runtime reading but that's minor. I don't have a calibrated reference but the reading from a 100 watt incandescent bulb appears correct. The photo shows a '100 watt eq.' CFL lamp reading - the KWH is a carry-over value from a separate device. I've added a switched jack to use an external split-core CT (#PZCT-02 bought separately) and the readings between the two sensors is quite close.The split-core CT allows me to check each side of the 240 volt incoming power to the circuit breaker cabinet. All in all, this has worked out well.

Seems to be good quality so far. The included adapter makes it super simple to monitor readings without having to cut and splice any wires. Provides lots of good information about the circuit. I wish the readout was a little bigger and brighter for use in direct sunlight but it's perfect when using in low light.

This digital power meter is an extraordinary tool, but until these two greatest flaws are corrected, its functionality, in practical application leave a too much to be desired.1.) The microswitch used to control settings and resets is; a.) Absolutely too tiny and b.) Recessed far too deeply into the frame, (making it quite difficult to actuate.)2.) The included printed instructions; a.) Are printed so very small, on a half size sheet of paper, that they can't be deciphered. b.) Provided instructions are vague, hopelessly flawed and useless.

Works very well, easy to connect. I like the split coil attachment - which means you don't have to disconnect your cable to be metered to put the coil over it. With this coil, you open the coil, put around the cable, but make sure you snap it shut completely.

It works well for a while, but one of the two i ordered alredy died, it only showed voltage and the current readung was missing segments, the other readings weren't displaying at all

Great value. Easy to install. Easy to read. I have installed one on each bus bar of our generator panel to monitor generator loads to allow selection of circuits to run without overloading the generator.

So far I think this meter performs well. I haven't used it enough to comment on quality and accuracy, but for my purposes it is perfect. Hooks up easily and doesn't require another power source. I'd REMMONED it.

It arrived in good shape. I have not installed it yet. It will be apart of my motor home upgrade.

The wires are somewhat flimsy but it is understandable considering that it is used to monitor amperage and power factor.

I cut a square hole where the old voltmeter was and mounted this in an old Chinese generator that I fixed up. Loaded the generator up with 3.5kw load and measured the voltage, current and frequency to a fluke 365. Same readings. Very happy with this unit.
