I followed the direction: "apply to damp hair and comb through to distribute evenly. Blow dry." Why my hair is even drier than usual? Is it normal?

I am African American with 3C natural hair.I always let my hair air dry. So I am not quite sure why that happened but it is possible, depending on the texture of your hair, that an ingredient has an adverse affect on your particular texture. Also, I generally combine the conditioner with coconut oil or shea butter to seal it. Hope this is helpful.

Does this leave in have silicone in it

can it be mixed with water and used daily as a refresher? My daughter is mixed and her curls are pretty tight.

I use it exactly in that way. I mix it with water in my spray bottle and spray my hair daily, I find that with that application, my hair is better moisturized with this product than by using it alone. I highly recommend that application for use in your daughter's hair regimen.
