Will these fit in the motion sensor feeder?

It fits in my microchip feeder; I don't know about the motion sensor feeder.

Can i use just 1 of these as an insert dropped into 1 side of the original split bowl and then just lift it out with clean half still below it?

Unfortunately not. It is much too snug to easily slide in. Also the added height will not allow the lid to close properly.

Are these size compatible with the microchip feeder?

They are very slightly smaller than the normal bowl when placed side by side in the microchip reader style feeder. I use the half bowls with my microchip feeder daily.

Do these not fit in the older sureflap model, mpf001? if not, are there separate bowls that do?

They fit the same size as the current single or split bowls that SureFeed has. If the larger bowls fit, so will these.
