We use this device so wifey can watch YouTubes while in our "berth" on the sailboat we have.. Works a charm! It certainly could be use in the cockpit for a nav program we have as well.

It does everything it advertises. The magnet is extremely strong and keeps a good grip on my iPhone+ while driving. I have no worries that my phone will slip off when making a sharp turn or sudden stop. This is a very reliable and good product. I would definitely repurchase or suggest to a friend!

wasnt as described. it isnt suction. its still a sticky pad that needs to adhere to your dash.
