Well worth such a modest investment
My couch is 25 years old but is in excellent cosmetic shape and I still like it. Unfortunately, the springs have lost much of their support. When sitting upon it, one would sink down a little too much, making it a little harder to get up, especially for older people. I inserted some thin plywood and that helped a bit was too hard by itself so I cut up a mattress topper and placed that on top of the plywood (then the couch cushions). That was better but not great. Since mattress toppers are usually made of some sort of memory foam, we were still sinking into the couch a little too much. Thus, thought I would try this polyurethane foam. Although not perfect, I have found this foam to be a marked improvement. I bought the 3" but may at some point try the 2" or even 1". Having used this foam every day since it was delivered, I can say there has definitely been an improvement in comfort and support, which is exactly what I wanted. It was very easy and quick to cut (I used a combination of scissors and electric knife). Only took a few moments. As for the product itself, I have no complaints. My only issue is how it works for me and my couch. Entering through the front door, the couch is one of the first things one sees and with this white foam elevating the cushions was quite noticeable. My couch has rather a busy floral pattern and fortunately I had a sheet I was not using with a similar pattern. Wrapping that sheet around the foam and tucking it in has improved the visual quite a bit, but it is still obvious that something is underneath the cushions. For now, I am getting more comfortable with the look and am quite pleased with the added comfort and support. Am considering trying some of the 1" or 2" foam at some point but expect that I would have to sacrifice some of the support with thinner foam. Not ready to try that yet. Just pleased to be getting more life out of a couch we like. It is much better than it was.

Just what I needed!
I bought the 3Hx24Wx72L foam cushion for the window bench/puppy perch I was building. The foam was the exact measurement as advertised. It was dense and squishy and didn’t have any weird odors when I opened it. It comes rolled up really tightly in the box. After I opened it, it was able to use it right away! I didn’t have to wait for it to puff up/unroll. It was perfect for my project. My puppies really like it too!

Measurement of foam is not accurate!
I liked the price of the foam, and it is also soft enough for what I need it for, but, as other customers have stated, the height of the foam is not 3 inches as stated, mine measure at a little under 2 3/4 inches, but I was still able to use it and just added batting on both sides of the foam to increase the height to a full 3 inches. The foam seems to be good quality, and it was a good price so I would probably buy this product again.

Excellent choice for replacement of dining room chair seat cushions
I was looking for just the right foam to replace my dining room seat cushions and fabric. . I have 6 large oak chairs in my dining room. The chairs needed to have the seat cushions and fabric replaced. Over the years the old cushions had flattened considerably and the boards that hold the seats to the chair had deteriorated. I looked at having a "professional" do the job but it was so costly I decided I would do it myself. I measured the seats and purchased wood at the local home improvement center. Used the old wood to make a stencil and cut each to size. Was debating whether to use 2" or 3" foam. I wanted the seat firm. The cost of purchasing pre-made foam pieces was also crazy. I purchased the 2" foam here at Amazon. Used the cut wood pieces as a stencil and cut the foam using an electric knife (very important to have one to cut foam). The rest was easy. Cut material from a pattern I had made using an old piece of sheet. Laid down the material, good side down, and added some batting material to cover the seat as well as the sides of foam and wood. Stapled tightly in place. The results were amazing. Better than a professional and minus the cost. Great products here on Amazon. I even purchased the staple gun here as well as the batting. The material was purchased at craft store.

Makes a great sleeping pad for camping at an affordable price!
I've been searching for the perfect sleeping pad for camping and I think I've found it. This foam pad is softer than those thin, blue sleeping pads you find in the camping aisle at Walmart, offers better support than a high dollar air mattress and is even more comfortable than a tatami mat and mattress. It doesn't weigh a lot and rolls up for packing into the car. I've put it inside an inexpensive sleeping bag liner to keep it clean. It offers great value and convenience for the price and arrived on time in just a few days. I used it right out of the box but, like all new foam products, it has a slight new foam smell and I recommend leaving it unrolled for a day to air out. I'm very happy with this purchase.

Really good product. I had thought I wouldcut it with my elec knife. Sorry no blades found. Anyway used a regular kitchen knife and it was very easy. Very clean and crisp.

I can't wait to tell you about foamy!
I bought this to make a window seat for my beautiful dining room window. I was undecided between the medium and high density. I ended up going with high. I'm glad I did because it is quite squishy still (as other reviewers say). I put a picture of the thickness and of me squeezing it lol. Foamy was VERY easy to cut. I cut him with my plain serrated kitchen knife. I was kinda surprised at how easy it was to cut through him. What I did was I took some cardboard and placed it on my window sill then cut the cardboard to the shape of the window sill. Then I put the cardboard on foamy and traced the outline with a black marker. I flipped the cardboard and foamy and did the same on the other side, this was to ensure a straight cut. Overall I'm quite happy with the way the cut turned out, it's a little jagged but I'm covering it with fabric anyways so no one will know (I put a picture of how the cut turned out with a kitchen knife). One thing to note, foamy is VERY SENSITIVE! When I placed him in the window sill to see if he fit he accidentally clipped a christmas light hook I had on the window and a small chunk of him flew off :o!!! luckily it wasn't that big. Throughout the cutting process he did pick up a lot of cat hair and dust so I tried to vacuum him but that put some tiny holes in him gah!! I put a picture of what happened - so just make sure you are gentle with him! Anyways next step was I cut the fabric and sewed the pieces together. Once I had a nice cover I shoved him in and voila! An awesome comfy window seat for reading and watching the neighbours haha! I'm very happy with how it turned out and the seat is nice and plush. Also, I have a ton of foam left over so I am going to use it for some other projects. Next project idea: my husband keeps bonking his head on the door to the balcony. I will use some of foamy on the top of the door to cushion the blows. I was also thinking of making cute tiny pillows to put on my new larger window seat. I think it would be really funny and cute to have a bunch of small cushions of different sizes! And it sounds like a fun project. If I end up doing that I will post pictures of the little foamy babies I make.
