Does this work for bottles that don't have a spray connection?

No you have to have a spray type bottle you cant pour purfume into it.

How do you take the outer shell off?

Could you pls rotate the inner bottle twice before trying to pull the inner bottle out ? If you still can not pull it out. Could you pls give us your address? We are very happy to provide a new perfume atomizer to you. thanks a lot.

I have tried other perfume sprays. But this is the first one that I have had that actually works , it fills very well others didn’t fill from some bottles but this one has been fantastic, I have had t throw about 4 out, have taken them back too he shops where I bought them from and they have changed them but these too have failed. This one is great give it a go! ,

You don't. Aa clearly stated this is for spray head perfumes only, if your bottle doesn't have a spray attachment, it can't be used with this atomiser.
