Very sheer
This was the thinnest voile I have ever sewn. If you are looking for sheer, lightweight but lots of color this is your fabric. Extremely light weight. The color was not what I expected but I sewed it up anyway because too much of a hassle to return. I always tear my wovens to get straight grain and this was off by inches but I had adequate fabric to complete my flowy dress.

Color not like the picture
I ordered off white and the fabric is what I’d call ivory or yellow. I sent a picture to the company and they said that the color I received was correct. I’m very disappointed in the color.

WONDERFUL!
After ordering batiste from three other sellers and being disappointed with the quality and weave (the others were like gauze or cheesecloth), I have finally found the perfect, silky, ultra-fine genuine batiste. Its exactly like the fabric in my 100 year old christening gowns. Thank you! Will be ordering again.
