Bitzenburger fletching Jig
Everything I expected. And the customer service from 60x strings is amazing. When I recieved the fletching Jig one of the set screws had backed out and was loose in the box with the ball bering but missing the spring. I messaged them and had the replacement spring in my mailbox the next day. Fletched a dozen arrows so far and everything works great.

Dissapointing.
I was looking for a quality fletching jig to replace my old setup. I bought this thinking it would be a sure bet considering the sheer number of positive reviews.I have never been so dissapointed in an archery product.Right of the gate the nock receiver, for lack of a better description, sucks. It simply cannot grip the knock firmly and it is incredibly easy for the arrow to come out. In addition the dial used to rotate the knock reciever is poorly machined and can be wiggled back and forth when “locked in” easily. Leading too many, many, incorrectly placed fletchings. You can actually buy a replacement knock reciever from a completley different company for this exact jig to solve this issue. This reciever has been around for a good 10 years as far as I can tell, and is a popular product.Which begs the question; why the hell had this jig continued to be made with such a glaring and widespread design flaw, why not simply adopt a superior design. This exemplifies, I think, the lack of attention to quality I would expect from an almost 100$ jig.The most frustrating aspect though, is the jig has ALOT of trouble simply keeping enough downward pressure on the arrows to ensure a good bond. I literally had to rig up a couple of rubber bands to get good results. Why am I paying this much money when I have to finick with it this month.I ultimately ended up removing the clamp, which I mist give credit for being an excellent design. And built in less then an hour a far superior jig out of scrap wood and aluminum that utilizes the clamp. But of-coarse, I could of simply bought just the clamp and saved myself hours of frustration and a good 60$.For reference: I build traditional wood arrows, with longer turkey or goose wing fletchings, Ground always plumb and true.
