This yarn was recommended for the free pattern from Hopeful Honey - Florence backpack. I couldn’t get the exact color used but I’m really happy with how it came out! The yarn is soft and I was worried it would be too weak for a backpack, but when it’s doubled up it’s incredibly strong. Extremely happy with how much it can hold and doesn’t dig into my shoulders.I ended up using 4 skeins (to double up when I crocheted) - and have a decent amount of yarn leftover. Definitely good value for money.

Love this yarn!!! It is so easy to work with and is super soft. I'm making the Kelan Carryall by Meghan Makes Do in the color Willow that she used. It looks gorgeous so far!!! I'm really happy with it and will definitely get more colors for more bags or even a basket, etc. Very pleased!!!

This is one of my favorite tape yarns to work with. I have made several purses using it and it works well with knitting or crocheting. I use two tapes together on my purses. Most people are surprised how soft it is. I will use it again. I do wish there were a few other colors. I would love a light sandy color.

I have ordered this yarn before. For the first order, the color was exactly as portrayed. However the Hawaiian Ocean is so completely off, it should be labeled as Faded Denim. I am aware of minor variations in dye lots - I have been crocheting for sixty years, but this much deviation is untenable. I was very disappointed, but I had a project and needed yarn - so I kept it. But I have included a picture of the completed project. You decide -- am I wrong??UPDATE - Since I wrote the above, I have crocheted my way through five more of these, in six different colors - which, by the way, the names of which are more tongue in cheek than descriptive. FYI, I thought for sure that the one that appears to be gray and is titled Olive You, sure enough does turn out to be a dark olive. I would venture to suggest that the seller, even if they do not bother to name these colors (and having to reprint all the labels),. might at least advertise them with realistic photography to allow consumers to purchase colors they actually want.The point of this update is to mention that the consistency of quality in the yarn (crochet tape) is very good, and that of the seven skeins I used, five of them pulled cleanly from a beginning piece protruding from one end of the skein, but, in two, the obvious "start here" bit had got tangled inside the skein and pulled out a good chunk of the back end of the yarn, and *only one of the seven had to be dug through and a starting end searched for before being able to begin work.

Lion brand yarn has never failed. This is great for the project I purchased it for. It’s soft and easy to work with. The thickness is just what I was looking for. The price was great since it was hard to find this yarn anywhere in stores where I live.

This is my first attempt to work with tape yarn, and I was a little worried about it. But it was surprisingly easy to use. I crocheted a hat with it, and keeping tension even was no problem, and I like the results.

Lion Brand Rewind Tape Yarn is a GREAT yearn for crocheted bags. I’ve make bags in almost every color they offer.

I found this yarn easy to work with just as they said it would be, and completed it in short order. My tote came out sturdy and looks beautiful.It is a retirement gift so I am hoping the recipient likes it as well as I do.
