Not quite what I was looking for...
This tablet is functional and somewhat does what it needs to. I started off in graphic arts and used this tablet but it was just not what I needed in order to draw and do the things I needed. The cord makes it really hard to use and as of right now I do most of my drawing on paper and scan it in and trace it or use illustrator to do an image trace. Once I installed the drivers I felt like I lost a lot of freedom with how I held the tablet and drew with it. One of these days I am hoping to try out a Cintiq Companion or even one of the monitors to draw on. I may try to use this again down the road but I have the small one and it is really hard for a large guy like me to use.

Very well made, sensitive digitizing pad
I really like this Bamboo pad. A lot of quality went into its design and construction. For example, the red pen holder at the edge is a thoughtful example of good design. That pen, without a cord, could be easily misplaced.I've used it with Photoshop Elements (version 5) and Corel Painter Essentials 4 (simple draw/paint program) and it works beautifully. Course, I am not a commercial artists, nor am I doing Manga for publication, so my demands are not severe, but nevertheless, I think this would work well for just about anyone. At any rate, I feel the money I spent on it was well spent. I got a lot for what I spent.A slight caveat: I like using the mouse better for the usual mouse functions. You can use the pen as a mouse, but it takes some fine tuned eye-hand coordination and steady hands, probably practice too, to pull that off well, at least as easily as you can move and click with a mouse. But I got it mainly for drawing.Highly recommended.

This is item would be perfect for a child but not so much for an ...
Compact and light as it promises the volume level is not what I need or expected. This is item would be perfect for a child but not so much for an adult.

It's light and easy to hold
It takes a while to get used to get, but it works very well! I've never had one before, and was debating between 3 others for a while until I kept going back to this one and decided. It's light and easy to hold, and the person I got it from had taken care of it well. It's great for a beginner like me, and I'm satisfied.

Lasted me long time
I first bought this tablet nearly 8 years ago and it only stopped working last year. Durable as heck and conformable to use. 10/10.

My only complaint--There was no "how to use" manual
I got it within 2 weeks of ordering. My 17 yr old daughter is always drawing, she's who I bought the tablet for. She absolutely loves it. She's still trying to get used to drawing with it and all its functions.
