Too strong, too tough.
These flakes are very large and sundried, which means they are very chewy. The flavor is stronger compared to some other brands I've had. I don't recommend this unless you are planning to put it into soup, casserole, or other cooked dish. Not for smoothies, sushi, or salads.

Great for a ocean taste.
If you want to eat healthfully with a plant based diet, but want a wee bit of the ocean/fishy tasted.....just put some of these on your pasta or stir fry. I especially like them mixed in with pasta, not the tomato based pasta but a simple pasta mixed with some shrooms and sliced olives, maybe some chopped red sweet pepper for color, and a little olive or truffle oil, and topped with veggie parmesan.
