It works very well and very quickly. I have one at work, one in my bag, and one at home. So when I need it, it's still in "my pocket"

Hi and thank you for your question. Palmer's Cocoa Butter Formula Swivel Stick has a silky, smooth texture that melts on contact. It is firmer than a soft balm but not hard and waxy as traditional lip balm.

Is this the same as their lip balm which has a slight vanilla scent - just packaged in a larger dispenser? Son likes the vanilla scent.

This doesn’t have a vanilla scent or flavor however it is a very delight scent & flavor. I particularly love the fact that upon getting chapped lips with another brand I returned to using this a couple times a day and my lips were great after one day! Great for the winter months & sunny months. I bought 6 and leave one at work, one in the car one For my hand bag & another for the bathroom & one for the night stand. You really will love this one of their best products!
