How do you take Berberine 500+?

The recommended dose is 2 capsules, twice daily. 2 capsules in the morning and 2 capsules in the evening (preferably with a meal).

How will I know if it's working?

The best way is by paying attention to how you are feeling! Each person will experience different benefits while using berberine but most people notice changes in their energy level when taking it.

Does berberine cause side effects?

For most people, no, but it can in some situations. Research indicates that a small percentage of people may experience gastrointestinal side effects when taking berberine such as bloating or changes in their bowel movements.

How does dihydroberberine compare to berberine hcl?

Research indicates that dihydroberberine may be up to 5x better absorbed than standard forms of berberine. The problem with berberine is that it has low bioavailability but dihydroberberine may solve this problem due to its increased absorption.

How long do I need to take it?

The short answer is as long as you'd like! Some people take berberine every day, and others take it for a few months, take a break, and then start again as needed.
