These are reasonably priced cartridges that my printer recognizes as authentic. I don't see any difference in print quality between the these and the Canon starter set. I haven't used these long enough yet to know about longevity.

Not sure whether generic brand inks shortened life of print head, but I won't pay OEM prices. (INK came free with Epson Eco-tank replacement printer).
