Does this have an "on body, hold down to work" power switch? As I see it, anything else is just an inadvertant media erasing accident in waiting.

The 115-S that we have--recently purchased new--doesn't have an "on body hold down to work" power switch. You plug it in and it's on. You unplug it and it's off.

does it have an operating button?

No, it does not. You operate it by pushing the plug into the wall outlet, you switch it off by pulling the plug. Remeber that you will have at least 4 minutes of safe continuous operation before switch off for cooling down.

Can i demagnetize a steel table frame with this unit? can i just touch frame? the table frame was magnitized by high powered magnets.

Probably not. The Anis Han-D-Mag is built for demagnetizing tape recorder heads. For a table frame it will not be strong enough.

can you demagnetive stereo speakers

Hello. Short answer is hopefully not. One of the components that make a speaker work is a coil around a magnetized core. If you were some how able to degmagnetize the core, the speaker would not work.

Annis Han-D-Mags are available in 8 different models. The more usual, standard Model 115-S, short probe model has a 2 1/4" long probe that is .415" thick. Long probe models have a 4 1/4" long probe. Thin probe models are only .315" thick Efficient magnetic design of the Han-D-Mag has resulted in a 5 times more efficient Head Demagnetizer.
