LSAT Logic Games Prep 2020-2021

I have been studying for LSAT for several months and needed more help in improving my time on Games. So I wanted a book that could provide clues and tips and strategies beyond the basics that I already know. However, this book is geared for beginners. So although it appears to be a good book, it is designed with the beginner in mind. Instead of having a game and then explaining the process to complete that one game, this book will take several games, and then breaks each into several steps. This may be appropriate in developing the basic approach, but not if you are in the intermediate to advanced level of games. So this book was not useful for me. But definitely get it if your only exposure to games has been 1-2 chapters on games out of a general LSAT book.

FIrst, there are SO many typos in this book! Like in one set of practice questions the answer choices were ABABC and the next question the choices were ACBCD. So the actual answers were not super helpful. I was using this primarily to practice actual exam questions, and they are not well marked. There's an excess of explanatory material in the chapters but then you have to go online, and sometimes watch a video, to get explanations to the practice questions. Really annoying and would not recommend.

Love My LSAT Book have tons of info but you can also find the same info online...but I'm a Book Person and registered to take the practice tests on line...A must have...I think you only need this if you have the online version already if not buy the other LSAT book it comes with access to the online version.

Of the two books I bought to study for the LSAT, this one is WAY better. Great explanations. Not overly wordy. Cites references. Has great stats about how often different types of problems appear, so you know how to prioritize each game type.

Saw my logic games section improve immediately, which raised my practice test by 3 points after just an hour of going through this book. I've used other test prep organizations, and Kaplan is simply the best. All their writing is easy to understand, and takes you through each question step-by-step, allowing full understanding of where you need to improve.Also, I wish I had known earlier their books were sold on Amazon! Going through Kaplan directly is expensive, but this book was incredibly affordable when purchased on Amazon.

Kaplan is the worst. Their methods are terrible. There are so many great companies out there for the LSAT and Kraplan isn’t one. Their in person courses made my scores go down. Their books are filled with their own in house garbage material. There are no gimmicks to the LSAT. Learning how to read and understand arguments is what it takes and it will do you well in law school. Kaplan will insist on there being easy ways and hack. You’ll just be screwing yourself in the long run. They’re big company garbage catering to people who don’t know any better until after they have your money.

I don’t care for this book. There are hardly any practice questions. The strategies that the publisher explains is excessive, and I feel that it contributes to poor time-management. I took a practice LSAT after a few weeks with this book, and I found myself spending too much time diagramming and making tables than critically analyzing.

I do wish there were more practice on your own logic puzzles in here, but that's just my learning style. They really break down each puzzle and puzzle type so if that's what you're looking for, this is your book.

Disappointing. Uses made up questions to explain the game types. The real lsat questions included at the end of chapters do not come with any explanations. Went through 75% of the book and decided to use logic game bible instead. The LG Bible comes with real lsat questions and detailed exolanations of those real lsat sections

Latest edition. No pen mark. Not even the name written on it.
